On land

Just steps from your Four Seasons villa or suite are a multitude of options for sports and recreation. You can also make friends with some of the island's oldest inhabitants by stopping to say hello to our Aldabra tortoises down by Kannel Restaurant.

Golf
Is there golf in paradise? To some, our Ernie Els-designed golf course in Mauritius may indeed feel like it. Previous guests will tell you that the final shot is not to be missed.

Designed by Ernie Els, Four Seasons Golf Club Mauritius at Anahita is a 7,500-yard, 18-hole, par-72 championship course with large fairways and five sets of tees. Six stunning oceanfront holes culminate in a final shot that is among the most spectacular in the world.

Built to USGA standards, it is the first of its kind in Mauritius. Carefully woven into the tropical sanctuary, the course is set against lush mountains and fringed by the vast crystal-clear lagoon.

Cycling
Whether with family or friends, there's no better way to explore the Resort's beautiful grounds than by bicycle. Available to hire complimentary from the Fitness Centre, bikes can be kept for the duration of your stay, with adult bikes, children's bikes and adult bikes with baby seats available.

Immersed in the serenity of lush tropical gardens, the Resort's state-of-the-art fitness centre offers a calm oasis for the fitness enthusiast, with a semi-Olympic lap pool, Technogym equipment, Powerplate, rowing machines and a boxing area. Complimentary classes provide expert Four Seasons guidance in jogging, water aerobics, circuit training, stretching and other activities.

Tennis
Players of all levels can enjoy our two Astro Wimbledon synthetic grass tennis courts. Equipment is available at the Fitness Centre, where lessons can also be arranged with a professional tennis coach, including private and semi-private lessons, weekly clinics, vigorous drill sessions and more.

Cultural activities
Visit our Cultural Centre to discover more about the fascinating history of Mauritius. Admire the detail of model ships that met their fate in the surrounding waters of the island in centuries gone by. See the intricate craftsmanship of wooden statues of the now extinct flightless bird, the Dodo, which was endemic to Mauritius. Study photos of past eras on the island and browse paintings of typical scenes of life in Mauritius.

Acquapazza
Ameal in this stunning open-air setting overlooking the Resort's lagoon means contemporary Italian cuisine with an Italian wine list numbering in the hundreds. Seared local scallops and Vincisgrassi Lasagna (an adaptation of a 15th century recipe) are among the highlights, while slightly more informal items such as pizza, antipasti, and grilled seafood also make an appearance. Beau Champ
