trees to a natural clearing selected by locally renowned artist Nigel
Henri. Having grown up in the Seychelles, the oldest granitic islands in
the world, Henri is celebrated for his depictions of local scenes.
With
his expert eye, Henri will guide your gaze over azure waters,
coral-lined coast and lush hillside foliage, and show you how to use the
materials provided to sketch or paint your own impression of the
dramatic landscape.
Your work, finished by Nigel if you so wish,
will be scanned to create your own postcards and mailed to your home
along with your original artwork for framing ? a permanent reminder of
your stay in one of the most beautiful places in the world.

Using Ecobioballs to ensure complete protection to the environment, this product is 100% safe to plant and animal marine life thanks to its cleverly-designed outer shell, which biodegrades in less than 48 hours, releasing fish food into the water. A game with 20 Ecobioballs, a sunset cocktail, use of clubs and driving mats is priced at SCR 40++ per person, and is bookable through the Recreation team or the Concierge. 'Blue is the new Green!'
Nature Hike
Just off property is a hiking trail that leads to the top of large, granite mountains. Plan on 15 minutes of intense hiking, followed by a bit of walking along the ridges, finishing with amazing views of Petite Anse Bay, where you'll hear the waves crashing in the distance and feel the cool breeze from being on top of the world. An amazing spot for pictures!

BeachThe beach at Petite Anse is among the most beautiful in Seychelles, therefore the world! This sheltered, horseshoe-shaped bay is perfect for relaxing, exploring the water and trying your hand at new sports.
Surfing
With an expert Tropicsurf instructor guiding your every move, anybody can experience the thrill of gliding across the water. Beginners can start off with the basics in the Resort, and move onto bigger waves at beaches close by, further along the coast.
Stand-Up Paddle
Explore the calm waters of the sheltered, horseshoe-shaped bay with an invigorating stand-up paddle tour. Hire a board and receive a simple lesson before heading out to enjoy a great workout for arms and core muscles, while taking in a new, spectacular angle of the Resort.
All Tropicsurf activities are chargeable, except a complimentary 30-minute Stand Up Paddleboarding class every Wednesday.
Marine Education
Just metres from the white sand shores of Petite Anse bay, a world of marine discovery awaits you at our Coral Cabana! Located at the main beach entrance, adjacent to the swimming pool and Kannel restaurant, come and explore all that the underwater world of Seychelles has to offer with our marine education and conservation specialists, WiseOceans.
At the Coral Cabana, the team of WiseOceans Marine Educators are always on hand ready to chat about the marine life of Petite Anse bay or, for those with a more adventurous streak, to take you on a wonderful guided snorkel to see what lies beneath the enigmatic surface. The Marine Educators also deliver regular open talks on marine life, and conduct research into the health of the reef to support marine conservation efforts by the Seychelles Government. There are various snorkelling options for you to choose from: whether it is a snorkel lesson for a beginner, a leisurely snorkel tour, or a scientific survey snorkel for those hoping to contribute to coral reef conservation in the Seychelles, the Marine Educators are available daily, ready to tailor your guided snorkelling experience to your requirements.
In 2015, Four Seasons Resort Seychelles and WiseOceans were proud to launch the Petite Anse Reef Restoration Project, which aims to transplant 16,000 coral fragments to a designated one hectare of reef. This is achieved by taking small broken fragments and transferring them to specially designed metal supports that hang in our in-water Coral Nursery before being transplanted to the reef. Our complimentary Kids For All Seasons programme is designed to take advantage of the Resort's tropical environment, expansive grounds and traditional Creole feel. The supervised programme creates memorable and educational experiences in a casual, fun environment. While the hub of activity is the children's centre, kids quickly realize that the entire Resort is their playground.During the school holiday periods older kids will love our Explorers Programme. Sailing, yoga, rock climbing and cookery are just some of the activities on offer. The Foumba ("Old House") is a unique venue that showcases the atmospheric ruins of a traditional Creole house.
