Overview

Let the lush gardens, white sands and turquoise waters of the Caribbean be the backdrop to a family getaway or special occasion at Aigue Marine. Set in the lee of Cinnamon Reef on Little Harbor, the villa is tucked into 1.5 acres and has its own beach. With ten bedrooms in the main house, Little Aigue Marine garden house, and a full staff, the property feels like a private luxury boutique hotel.

Accommodation

Your stay at Aigue Marine includes the services of a chef, assistant chef, butler and service staff, estate manager, housekeeper and security staff. Spend your time soaking in the Caribbean sun on the private beach or by the pool, taking the boats and kayaks for a spin or sharpening your game on the tennis court. The beautifully landscaped grounds have a terrace with a sitting area, an al-fresco dining area with barbecue and an outdoor shower. Indoors, you'll find satellite TV, Wi-Fi, an office, laundry facilities and a fitness center.

The vibrant greens and blues of Aigue Marine's setting are contrasted by the crisp white palette of the villa's interiors. Fold-away glass doors let in the ocean breezes and the fans dotting the vaulted ceilings keep the air moving in the open-plan living and dining room. Turquoise sofas are a splash of color against white floors and sofas, and Tulip chairs are a modern touch against the traditional Caribbean architecture. There's a fully equipped kitchen in the main house, a second kitchen in Little Aigue Marine and a kitchenette in the garden house.

There are seven bedrooms in the main house and three in the garden house. Each of these ten bedrooms has a king bed, en-suite bathroom and air conditioning.

Living & Dining Areas

The Living/Entertaining Area is the hub of Aigue Marine. A spectacular space that opens on to the beautiful terrace and patio area. This amazing room has breath-taking views particularly in the evening when enjoying one of our speciality cocktails and watching the sun go down.

This area is also ideal for large parties, group films and games or for watching a much anticipated game on the large screen TV.

Recently refurbished Indigo boasts a full fitted Premium Brand Kitchen. Guests are invited to help themselves as they wish although a visit to Indigo does come with 2 full time Chefs to prepare exceptional meals and delicious snacks for our guests.

Pool

Indigo has two spectacular Swimming pools.

The main pool is made from natural stone and beautiful mosaic tiles and is nestled amongst the palm trees and tropical gardens close to the beach. The main pool can be heated on request.
The second pool is located outside Little Indigo suite on the main terrace level of the property and has spectacular views out to the Caribbean Sea and the Island beyond

Tennis
Tennis Court and Tennis Pavilion Aigue Marine has a floodlit cushion grass mat Tennis Court and Pavilion for our guest's exclusive use. Professional Tennis lessons are available on request. The Pavilion is also a fabulous relaxing and entertaining area.
Aigue Marine also features a fully equipped gym, Childrens Play Area and Cinema Room.

Golf
CuisinArt Golf Course is Anguilla's first 18-hole state-of-the-art championship, environmentally friendly golf course at Rendezvous Bay. Anguilla's Golf Association (AGA) Pitch and Putt is a 9-hole public course at Sandy Ground and daily green fees are US$10.00.

Water sports
With Fantastic Adventures - The trails 400 plus wooden steps string together 7 eco-friendly gazabos and decks where you can relax and explore the seascape. Snorkel around our coral formations in the clear waters, kayak in a glass canoe or just swim across to Little Bay.

Sailing
Anguilla Youth Sailing Club at Sandy Ground offers courses of youth sailing instruction. Aimed at young visitors and local families, the programme operates over key holiday periods and selected dates during the year. The courses offer basic instruction in boat handling, maintenance, seamanship, life saving and first aid to approximately 16 children per session, ages 7 - 15 years. The courses follow the International Optimist Dinghy Association (IODA) curriculum. The Anguilla Sailing Association is a member of both IODA and USODA.

Diving and snorkeling
Anguilla is known as the Wreck Diving Capital of the Caribbean. In addition to the Spanish galleon, El Buen Consejo, there are nine shipwrecks in its surrounding waters. The wrecks are home to a wide variety of corals and marine life including angelfish, barracudas, margates, sharks, snappers and turtles. The island also features a double reef system, rich in both soft and hard corals such as the giant brain, bouquets of gorgonians, which reach 15 to 20 feet and sea fans in a spectacular array of colours.

Sport fishing
Half and full day trips are operated by charter companies to catch fish such as wahoo, dorado, kingfish, sailfish, marlin, barracuda and grouper.

Water sports
Sailing is one of the most popular pastimes on Anguilla. In addition to yachts, windsurfers and kayaks are available for hire and water skiing can also be arranged. There are no motorised watersports on Anguilla.

Walking
There are numerous tracks around the island from the rocky coast line of Windward Point in the north to the "rain forest" trail at Katouche. There are also excellent escorted walks and heritage tours with Anguilla's National Trust: Sandy Ground Village, Heritage Museum at East End Pond and Wallblake House in The Valley.

Walking tour:
"H" is for Heritage. An exciting new addition to Anguilla's attractions, Anguilla's Heritage Trail opened in June 2010 to give locals and visitors alike an insight into the island's colourful history. The designated trail will lead you around 10 historic sites of special interest, as selected by public vote, marked by a series of informative plaques. A great opportunity to learn a bit more about what makes Anguilla so unique.

Ornithology
Anguilla boasts more than 100 species of bird life. Its salt ponds attract many varieties from herons to sandpipers. Other activities that can be enjoyed include horse riding, cave treks and art gallery hopping

Beaches
Anguilla is renowned for its unspoilt, tranquil, white-sand beaches. There are 33 beaches on this small island, which measures just 35 square miles. They range from Shoal Bay East with its 2.5 mile stretch of sand, watersports facilities and restaurants, to the secluded Captain's Bay, which is accessed along a dirt track, and Little Bay accessed by boat from Crocus Bay. All of Anguilla's beaches are public.

The food is an integral part of Aigue Marine experience, we provide all our guests with the ultimate in fine dining and exquisite cuisine.
The dining and meals at Indigo are legendary throughout the Caribbean. Our Chefs are on hand to create the ultimate gastronomic experience for our guests.
We are able to provide our guests with a variety of different dining areas at Indigo from a candlelit poolside meal to enjoying a beach barbecue, to fine dining in the charming waterside gazebo.
At Aigue Marine we are able to provide the guests with a variety of options and dinner settings.

There is the main terrace indoor/outdoor area which is fabulous spot for a large family dinner.
We also have the covered dining gazebo in the gardens for a beautiful dinner setting.
There is also the option of romantic candlelit dinners in various positons throughout the resort for 2 or more people.

Menus
We pride ourselves on our outstanding cuisine and service. Our chefs are some of the best in the Caribbean and possibly even the world. Our Head Chef was recently awarded a Michelin Star.
We start the day with fresh coffee available from 6am. This is followed by continental breakfast at 7am (fresh orange juice, croissants, cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit platter etc)
We like to cook a hot breakfast starting from 8am (eggs, bacon, pancakes, toast etc). The hot breakfast is cooked to order so that our guests can enjoy their choice of breakfast at a time that suits them.

Beach day

Barbecue on the beach
Our incredible Beach Barbecue is a regular occurrence at Aigue Marine . We use the traditional large drum Caribbean Coal Barbecue usually in a setting near the beach or the Outside Dining Gazebo.

We also offer out guests a Beach day out at a beautiful and unspoilt Anguillan Beach complete with private Marquee and Sun loungers. It is a very memorable occasion.

Please not: The Beach day is a chargeable extra that we offer our guests and it is not included in the rates.

Our Sister Turquoise can also be hired alongside Aigue Marine to give us the capacity of 40 people all staying within the resort.
We have a truly stunning waterside deck where we can perform the ceremony itself or we can set up a stunning marquee for the reception afterwards
