Villa ARTEPEA is a 4-bedroom villa located in Lurin. Situated in a newly built private domain on the hillside, this exquisite 3-level villa enjoys sweeping views. With many open to the scenery spaces, it provides four luxurious bedrooms and a truly remarkable array of amenities. It is a contemporary design that blends a distinctly Mid-Century Modern feel with island style.
Accommodation
A long, slightly steep, driveway leads down to a covered parking area. From here, stairs lead through the garden to the villa below.
Enjoy the delicious views and the sea breezes coming in from St. Jean bay as you recline on your private sun deck. Standing like the prow of a ship, it frames the view from the pool area. Furnished with oversized lounges and backed by the elegant stretch of the pool, it is a marvelous destination. The property itself offers a large and private garden reached via your private stone stair from the pool. You also have a lovely back garden with a covered terrace.
The large living room opens completely to the pool deck and view. The living room shares its space with a dining area, which accommodates 12 guests. The spacious, well-equipped kitchen features a large counter and breakfast bar with stools.
Each air-conditioned bedroom has a ceiling fan, an ensuite bathroom, the U.S. and French satellite services, and Apple TV. The master bedroom on top of the main house is furnished with a king-size bed, while the other 4 bedrooms have queen-size beds. The second bedroom offers an outside bathtub and shower, and an ocean view. The master bedroom is only available with the 4-bedroom rate.
A deck with loungers surrounds the long heated swimming pool. This villa also comes with an automatic generator, iPod docking stations, and WiFi.

There are fourteen beaches on St. Barths, all blessed with gleaming white sand. Few are crowded, even in peak season.
Shell beach
This beach is a short walk from Gustavia, and the scene of many weekend festivities. Restaurant Do Brazil is on the beach.
Gouverneur beach
It's a bit of a drive to get there, but the reward is a feeling of remoteness and privacy.
Saline beach
While nudism is officially forbidden in St. Barths, it is most likely to be practiced here. Happily, this beach is a favored haunt of the most comely women and the most handsome men
Toiny beach
This beach is popular with surfers. Yet it is not recommended for swimming as the currents are strong.
Petit Cul de Sac beach
Because of the depth of the bay, and the size of the fringing reef, the water here is usually quite calm.
Grand Cul de Sac beach
This beach borders a shallow, well protected bay, and the water is warm and relatively calm. There are several restaurants and hotels on this beach, as well as a windsurfing rental station.
Marigot beach
Edged by coconut palms, Marigot Beach is a tranquil nature reserve with beautiful crystalline waters ? ideal for swimming and snorkelling.
Lorient beach
This beach, popular with local families, is also a great surfing spot.
St. Jean beach
St. Jean actually has two beaches, separated by Eden Rock.
Anse des Cayes beach
Favored by surfers, due to the usual onshore breeze, and adjacent to the Hotel Manapany.
Flamands beach
This long and deep beach can have impressive rolling surf during the winter months. though swimming is rarely hazardous. Hotel St. Barth Isle de France and La Langouste are handy for lunch or a drink.
Colombier beach
This beach is still called "Rockefeller's Beach", because, for many years, David Rockefeller owned the property that surrounds it. It is a popular Sunday picnic spot for local folk, who traditionally camp out for the night during Easter weekend.
Corossol beach
The fishing village behind this beach remains a typical example of the traditional style of local life.
Public beach
This beach is ideal to start the activities of sails.

Kayaks and peddle boats, available on the beaches of Saint-Jean and Grand Cul-de-Sac, can take you away to mysterious caves and cliffs...
Hiking and Horseback riding
Provided that you choose heavy-sole shoes, wear a hat and sun-screen and take a bottle of water, hiking is a good way to discover St. Barts. The most famous path will take you from Petite Anse to the stunning bay of Colombier in fifteen minutes walk. That beach can only be access by sea otherwise. But you can also climb up to the top of the island, Mount Vitet, 286 meters high, or you can tour the Toiny Point... Vegetation on various windward places grows like bonzaïs, tough tiny trees leaning away from many years of strong gusts of wind. The dry forest shelters botanical treasures, orchids, rare cactuses, beds of white lilies... But you shoud be aware that all the lands being private, you can sometimes be kindly asked to walk back on your steps by owners not willing to see their properties trespassed. The Tourist bureau has a small document showing some hiking itineraries.
Shopping
St. Barts is a duty free port, and shoppers will be delighted with the range and number of shops: from a shaded table by the side of the road, to the elegant displays and marble floors reminiscent of Rue du Faubourg St. Honoré in Paris.

The villa's kitchen and bar can be pre-stocked according to your wishes, you can have meals cooked by your personal Chef, or you can enjoy a barbecue on the terrace, staff are on-hand to deliver these to you. In addition, pre-set menus can be arranged, which is perfect for those celebrating a special occasion or event at the villa.
Your private chef will be happy to create dishes to suit you and your party, from local specialities to home comforts. Please note food and drinks will be charged for separately.
