The only two accommodations on the 51st level, the two Presidential Suites at Four Seasons Hotel New York offer glorious views from floor-to-ceiling bay windows and furnished balconies.

St. Patrick's Cathedral
The most famous Catholic church in New York and one of the largest churches in the United States. Two spires over 300 feet (90 metres) high grace the structure, which is in 13th-century Gothic style.

Brooklyn Bridge

Ellis Island

Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum
Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright, the museum features a domed white circular section, in which paintings are hung along the spiral walkway. The museum has especially strong holdings in the French Impressionists, Wassily Kandinsky, Paul Klee and Pablo Picasso.

The Paley Center for Media
Collections from 25,000 television shows, 10,000 commercials and 15,000 radio programs. Visitors can select material from a computerised file and then watch or listen in one of 23 booths.

Radio City Music Hall
This art deco theatre, which opened in 1932, is America's largest, with seating for 6,000. It is home to the fabled Rockettes chorus line, theatrical productions and live concerts.

Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts
This distinctive 16.3-acre (6.6-hectare) complex houses the Metropolitan Opera, New York Philharmonic Orchestra, NYC Ballet and many more performing arts organizations. One-hour tours are available.

Broadway Theatre District
Manhattan's theatre district is comprised of a variety of entertainment options, including dozens of theatres and numerous restaurants. The area extends from Sixth Avenue to Eighth Avenue (east to west) and from 40th Street to 52nd Street (south to north).
