Overview

With its stylish contemporary design and panoramic rice-terrace setting in Bali's Canggu district, The Iman Villa is a fabulous five-bedroom holiday escape.

Sleek lines, sensational views and sophisticated interiors, matched with comfort, space and a treasure trove of top-notch facilities, give The Iman Villa a wide appeal. This luxurious residence is as perfect for fun family get-togethers as it is for elegant soirees and unforgettable weddings.

Witness a spectacular Bali sunset from the rooftop jacuzzi; sip cocktails in the sunken lounge; soak up the sun as the kids splash in the wading pool; relax you're on holiday. The Iman Villa's rural setting belies the fact that Seminyak's excellent restaurant, bars and boutiques are within easy reach  although, with such fabulous facilities, attentive staff and gourmet meals on hand you may just be tempted to stay put.

Accommodation

The combination of chic modern design aesthetics and a picturesque Balinese setting among lush paddy fields, towering palm groves and leafy banana plantations, gives The Iman Villa an undeniable wow factor.  Built on gently sloping grassy terraces that mimic the surrounding rice fields, you will feel very much a part of the tropical scene, while enjoying it from a luxurious vantage point offering every conceivable modern comfort.  Cutting edge features to enhance your stay include Apple TV, massive plasma screens and the sleekest of fittings.

Gleaming under the tropical skies, the white stone buildings are reminiscent of the Mediterranean, while eco-friendly green roofs topped with plants and water features blend in with the natural environment.  A distinctive Indonesian flavour is reflected in the intriguing collection of copper lamps, ethnic artefacts, wood carvings and antiques, handpicked by the owners and displayed throughout the villa.

As well as being the ultimate in designer villas, The Iman is also hit with families.  Kids will love the wading pool, plethora of floating toys, rooftop jacuzzi, snooker table and terraced lawns. The pizza oven is bound to make them happy too.  When it comes to groups, the infinity pool and open-sided living area with its decadent sunken lounge makes a perfect social hub.  There's a smaller lounge, dining and kitchen area in the two-bedroomed guesthouse, so options for privacy are ample.

Beautifully presented gourmet meals are served up by the villa's talented private chef, who has a background in fine dining.  Friendly and attentive butlers can also whip you up a signature drink or stock the wine fridge with your favourite tipple.

While the village of Pererenan is still sleepy and rural, nearby Echo Beach is famed for its sunsets and seafood barbecues, and the neighbouring district of Batubolong has recently started to buzz with a laid-back beach vibe.  Here you will find a trendy assortment of cafes, bars, spas, boutiques and beachfront restaurants.

Entrance to the villa is via the main double-storey building, from a smart private parking area.  Occupying the top floor of this building are two bedrooms, both opening onto the attractively planted roof terrace with large sunken jacuzzi and sun loungers set on honey-hued decking.  A third bedroom lies on the ground floor next to the exceptionally well-equipped entertainment room.

A wing to the right of the entrance houses the guest and staff kitchens, and at the centre of the property is the delightful open-sided living and dining pavilion and infinity pool.  The two-bedroomed guesthouse, with a further living and dining area, is set on a lower terrace of the large gardens.

The Iman Villa is very well set up for families.  Children will love the wide expanses of lawns and the swimming pool with its shallow wading area and flotilla of pool toys.  Families with toddlers can request for a pool safety fence to be set up (charges apply), and the central layout of the villa makes it easy to keep an eye on children.

Other family friendly advantages of a holiday at The Iman Villa include access to your own private facilities and the freedom to use them whenever you want.  Knowing that the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without you having to worry about other guests, is a real plus and one that means parents are certain to have a more relaxed holiday too. The team of friendly staff will make children feel as welcome as adults, and having these willing helpers on hand gives guests plenty of flexibility and freedom to do their own exploring beyond the villa grounds (full-time babysitting incurs a small extra cost).

Although the equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals for fussy eaters or babies with ease, staff will happily to do this for you.  The villa provides a children's menu and you can talk through any special requirements and meal schedules with the villa manager or chef and they will take care of the rest. Pizza by the pool is bound to be popular; served straight from the villa's state-of-the-art pizza oven.Don't worry about packing all that cumbersome kids' equipment for your stay.  Just let us know what you need, and anything we don't have in-house (villa facilities include a baby cot, highchair, baby bath, baby monitor and kids movies) we can hire on your behalf (click here to see list of available hire items). And when the excitement of exploring the villa starts to wear off, check out our Things to do page there's plenty in the area to keep all the family amused throughout the holiday.

Dining
The Iman Villa's private chef brings a vast array of experience to the kitchen and is at your service to prepare breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The villa offers an extensive suggestion menu of delicious home-style meals featuring Asian and international dishes to cater to all tastes, with an excellent selection of vegetarian and children's options.  The chef is also more than happy to tailor meals to accommodate any special dietary requirements.  A stay is not complete without sampling the chef?s pepes ikan (fish steamed in banana leaf), satay ayam (chicken satay on bamboo skewers) or pisang goreng (fried banana) with ice cream.

Groceries and beverages are charged at cost price plus 20%++ handling fee.  Guests will be requested to provide grocery money in advance, and the staff will do the shopping and keep the receipts for reference.  To make the most of the kitchen and give staff time to shop, it is a good idea to plan meals the evening before.

Spa
Fancy a body scrub or massage; just ask our staff to bring the spa to you!  We can recommend deluxe treatments carried out in the privacy of your villa by fully trained therapists from a reputable local spa (extra charges will apply).  Here's a sample of what's on the menu:

Massage
Release built up tension with a traditional Balinese massage.  Using a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatherapy oils to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and energy around your body, you will feel totally relaxed in no time.

Foot reflexology
Foot reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet that correspond to every part of the body.  Through application of pressure on these reflexes tension is relieved and circulation improved leaving you feeling balanced.

Body scrub
A full body scrub will exfoliate and hydrate your skin leaving it soft and smooth.  A rejuvenating scrub combines an abrasive material such as salt, coffee, rice bran or pecan hulls with essential oils to remove any impurities and make your skin glow.

Manicure/pedicure
Our hands and feet work hard for us every day but rarely get the attention they deserve.  Treat them to a manicure or pedicure, which usually comes with the added bonus of a quick hand or foot massage

Weddings
With its beautifully manicured lawns, infinity edge swimming pool, sweeping views and generous rooftop terrace, The Iman Villa provides a lovely venue for weddings and special celebrations. We can recommend expert event organisers, florists, decorators and caterers so you can focus on relaxing and celebrating with your guests.
