Overview
Villa Aiko embodies the ancient Chinese philosophy of yin and yang: presenting a striking interplay of light, space and airiness balanced with classic architectural lines created from teak, marble, granite and recycled ironwood.
Every space at Villa Aiko - indoors and out - makes the most of the villa's spectacular hilltop location. No matter where you are, the view is simply breathtaking.
Awake to a symphony of birdsong and, from the comfort of your king-size bed, watch the mist rise off the mountains. Spend a lazy day lounging in the sun on your private veranda or retreat from the heat and relax in the comfort of the air-conditioned library. Then enjoy a sumptuous evening meal prepared by your private chef as you watch the lights twinkling far below on Jimbaran Bay.
Children will love Villa Aiko. They can run around on the big lawn adjacent to the main house, play hide and seek around the grounds, splash about in the pool and chill in the air-conditioned playroom, which is equipped with a doll's house, kitchen set, games, crafts, books, and toys, to keep them entertained for hours. There's also a fantastic selection of DVDs, plus Xbox and Wii for the young and young at heart.
With the kids occupied, adults can indulge in some well-deserved pampering: enjoy a massage in the serenity of the spa treatment room or unwind in the shaded rooftop jacuzzi, a glass of bubbles in hand. While there's no shortage of quiet spaces for a peaceful read or some private meditation, the many lounge and dining areas, both indoors and out, spoil you for choice when it?s time to socialise. And because both floors are equipped with state-of-the-art Bose sound systems, music can set the mood wherever you are in the villa.
The grassy pool surround and the breezy upstairs deck are both great locations for sophisticated and intimate celebrations. Whatever your needs and desires, the warm, caring and professional staff at Villa Aiko will ensure that you experience an unforgettable Bali holiday.

Villa Aiko features two fabulous lounge rooms. The first, on the ground floor, overlooks the manicured lawn and swimming pool and is part of the open-plan living, dining and kitchen area, where an imposing, blond wood, ten-seater dining table lies next to the sleek modern kitchen.
Also on the ground floor is the library, a wonderful spot in which to relax on the stylish leather sofas and read a book.
The spacious upstairs living area is a great retreat - kick back and watch television or sink into the couch and enjoy an afternoon snooze. Young guests will enjoy their own kiddie utopia in the air-conditioned second-floor playroom, which opens onto a spectacular rooftop terrace.
Villa Aiko has a plethora of outdoor spaces to take advantage of the island's wonderful climate. Luxuriate in the open-air jacuzzi, share a love seat on the rooftop terrace and watch the sun set over the ocean, relax on a poolside sun lounger, or dine under the stars and watch the lights of Jimbaran reflecting on the ocean below.

If you crave bacon and eggs for breakfast ? or at any other time of the day ? just let the cook know. The only thing you have to decide is whether you want poached, scrambled or fried...
With such an amazing range of tropical fruits available, the cook can concoct some wonderfully refreshing juices for you to sip by the pool ? the lemongrass and pineapple is a must-try.
Other house specialties include the balsamic sautéed chicken and the melted chocolate pudding. And be sure to try some Asian delicacies too: the nasi goreng (fried rice) and beef rendang curry are both highly recommended.

Additional Notes
Families
The family friendly advantages of a villa holiday are many, including access to your own private facilities and the freedom to use them whenever you want. Knowing that the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without you having to worry about other guests, is a real plus ? and one that means parents are certain to have a more relaxed holiday too.
Villa Aiko is a great villa for families. Kids will love the grassy lawns, and the bright, well-equipped playroom (conveniently situated next to the jacuzzi and rooftop lounge - a fine play area for the grown-ups!). Just keep an eye on toddlers around the villa?s pool, fish ponds and water features.
The team of friendly staff at Villa Aiko will make children feel as welcome as adults, and having these willing helpers on hand gives guests plenty of flexibility and freedom to do their own exploring beyond the villa grounds (full-time babysitting incurs a small extra cost).
Although the equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals for fussy eaters or babies with ease, staff will happily to do this for you ? just talk through your requirements and meal schedules with the villa manager or chef and they will take care of the rest. Banana pancakes on the rooftop for breakfast? Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches in the playroom for lunch? No problem. The chef can customise all meals to suit children's taste buds.
Don't worry about packing all that cumbersome kids' equipment for your stay. Just let us know what you need, and anything we don't have in-house (villa facilities include children's cutlery, plates and a playpen) we can hire on your behalf.
Dining
With a full-time cook on hand, there's little need to leave Villa Aiko other than to surf up an appetite! Delicious home cooked cuisine will be prepared for breakfast, lunch and dinner. SPA
Feel like a body scrub or massage? Just ask our staff to bring the spa to you! We can recommend deluxe treatments carried out in the privacy of your own villa by fully trained therapists from a reputable local spa (extra charges will apply). Here's a sample of what's on the menu.
Balinese massage
Release built up tension with a traditional Balinese massage. Using a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatherapy oils to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and energy around your body, you will feel totally relaxed in no time.
Foot reflexology
Foot reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet that correspond to every part of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes tension is relieved and circulation improved leaving you feeling balanced.
Body scrub
A full body scrub will exfoliate and hydrate your skin leaving it soft and smooth. A rejuvenating scrub combines an abrasive material such as salt, coffee, rice bran or pecan hulls with essential oils to remove any impurities and make your skin glow.
Manicure/pedicure
Our hands and feet work hard for us every day but rarely get the attention they deserve. Treat them to a manicure or pedicure, which usually comes with the added bonus of a quick hand or foot massage.
