Windu Villas is pleased to announce the opening of Windu Asri, where we have honed the art of combining the comfort, intimacy and ambience of a private home with a level of service akin to that of a luxury boutique hotel.
This new "Raffles Style," exclusive-use, private villa offers exemplary five-star services, state-of-the-art facilities and luxurious accommodation for groups of up to 12 adults in glamorous suites; further guests can be accommodated by arrangement.
Windu Asri is within walking distance, or a short taxi ride, of Petitenget Beach and the many chic boutiques, restaurants and beachclubs, vibrant nightspots and sumptuous spas of Bali's hip and happening Seminyak area.

Accommodation
Designed and decorated in the sublime "Raffles Style," Windu Asri is the
perfect place from which to explore Bali or where to simply relax and
be pampered. The tropical garden, the white stone colonnades, the marble
and wooden floors and the unique air of romantic grandeur will
transport you back to a more elegant age, while the seamless service,
contemporary technology and attention to detail is completely of our
time.
Stained-glass side windows usher guests through the
welcoming entrance portico into a lobby overlooking a large swimming
pool and garden. Select from six large bedroom suites each with private
en-suite bathrooms; four suites feature traditional four poster beds,
while the others offer the choice of a super king size or twin single
beds.
The option of air-conditioned indoor or outdoor dining
areas is available, each capable of seating at least twelve diners. The
Outdoor Pavilion is cooled by overhead fans and overlooks the large
swimming pool; it features a comfortable lounge area with an adjacent
bar for cocktail and beverage service.
Conveniently located in a
secure enclave in Petitenget with easy access to fine dining
restaurants, chic bars and designer shops; Windu Asri ensures holidaying

Living & Dining Areas
Windu Asri is blessed with multiple areas where family and friends staying at the villa can meet to mingle and chat. The Outdoor Living Pavilion is a perfect setting with comfortable lounges, ottomans and plantation chairs; the built-in bar is well positioned to provide refreshments.
The balcony off the Media Room provides an elevated position overlooking the pool and gardens; gentle breezes fan the area, making it an ideal place to relax and enjoy a little quiet time in the evening.
Colonial style "cane lounge chairs" are positioned around the property on the front and rear verandahs to the main house and outside the guest bedroom pavilion; well suited for a little private time or for a personal chat away from the crowd.
The focus of the garden is the splendid swimming pool, flanked by a wide stone sundeck, which is furnished with high-quality adjustable sunbeds and umbrellas, and complemented by the thoughtful provision of an outdoor shower. The pool features an entrance ledge ideal for young children under supervision; the main body of the pool is all 1.5 metres deep.
Running the full length of the pool, the "bale" pavilion features two distinct areas, one with twin built-in daybeds and the other with a built-in lounge suite; each area is cooled by speed controlled overhead fans.
A safety fence can be installed around the swimming pool for the duration of your stay; simply ask the villa staff and they will be happy to arrange it without cost to our guests.
Cooling off with a refreshing swim or escaping the sun under an umbrella or in the protection of the bales; both are relaxing and rejuvenating, the choice is yours!
It's a rare treat to find a Bali villa with a self-contained room dedicated solely to dining but this is what is provided at Windu Asri, furnished with a table for 12, offset by gorgeous artwork, and offering formal, air-conditioned dining.
Alternatively, make the most of the alfresco dining space in the poolside pavilion. Sit back, relax and enjoy some delicious home-cooked meals prepared by the villa's professional chef.
Windu Asri also features a large five burner modern gas barbecue, positioned in the garden near the outdoor dining area. The seafood BBQ is a signature dish on the menu.
Windu Asri offers the option of air-conditioned indoor dining with a large more formal table seating up to twelve diners in comfort; the dining room is conveniently adjacent a modern gourmet kitchen.
The open-sided lounge and dining pavilion forms the social daytime hub of the villa. The fan-cooled sitting area with its sofas, ottomans, lazy planter chairs and coffee tables is a comfortable corner for conversation with friends and family.
The adjacent dining area presents the perfect venue for a convivial lunch that could segue effortlessly into a more formal dinner. Lit by a spectacular hanging lantern, the table for 12 can be quickly extended to accommodate 16 guests. Alternatively the staff can set up the pavilion with two tables serving 24 diners.
At night the area takes on a different, but equally welcoming persona. The pool is illuminated with deep blue shades, the buildings are adorned with traditional coach lamps and pendents and the garden features, artwork and sculptures are highlighted with discretely positioned light sources.
Private Bar
The centrally-positioned bar, featuring a mirrored facade flanked by three bar chairs, is a great spot to hang out with your companions and enjoy some tasty tapas, innovative cocktails, conversation and music.
Media room
The air-conditioned media room is central in the upstairs section of the main building and characterised by a blue theme and furnished with a comfortable, L-shaped segmented sofa and glass-topped coffee table.
Framed prints of old Javanese and Balinese travel posters adorn the white walls, while toe-pleasing carpets grace the polished timber floor.
Not only is Windu Asri a handcrafted masterpiece of design, elegance and luxury; it also seamlessly combines hi-tech amenities with its historical theme. Watch DVD movies or satellite TV on the 60-inch high definition screen, complete with enhanced sound.
Close the curtains and snuggle up in front of the big screen or, for a completely different ambience, slide open the glass doors on either side of the room and allow the cool breezes to circulate.

Manager
The Windu Villas Manager leads the staffing team and manages operational issues with the aim of exceeding the expectation of each guest. His dedication to detail and to our guests' experiencing a first class holiday is apparent from the minute he greets you upon your arrival.
Supervisor
The villa Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and assisting with all aspects of the daily operation of Villa Windu Asri and ensuring guests needs are met. He will be pleased to arrange for private cars and drivers, babysitters, spa therapists, yoga instructors and more. Whether you wish to learn more about the Balinese culture, call a taxi, make a dinner reservation at one of Seminyak's world class restaurants, locate the best shops or make a run to the pharmacy, he is always available to help.
Chef
Trained in local and western cuisine and in charge of market shopping as well as preparing delicious meals, the villa Chef will delight you with superb Western and Asian cuisine, utilising the abundant fruits, vegetables and fish from the island as well as gourmet imported products. Your meals will be prepared and served when and where you choose - one of the joys of a villa holiday is not having to fit in with anyone's schedule but your own.
Butlers
The six personal butlers are responsible for the villa set up, guest service, housekeeping, kitchen duties and providing waiter service. They take exceptional pride in making certain that the villa and each guest suite is spotlessly clean, comfortable and welcoming. Their service with a smile and special touches of charm will help create a warm and cared for environment.
Gardener
The Gardener will make sure that the beautiful landscaping and villa property is maintained to the highest standards, as well as ensuring that the swimming pool is always clean and sparkling.
Night Security Guard
Ensuring you can enjoy your time at Windu Villas with confidence is our security guard's top priority. He is on duty at the villa every night from 10 pm to 6 am. Additionally, a security team is on duty 24 hours a day at the main entrance to the estate to ensure the safety and security of the whole area.
Our staff members work in revolving shifts, so they are available at the villa 24 hours to assist with your needs and requests. The guests' privacy is also a main concern of our staff, so they are not intrusive. If complete privacy is desired our manager or supervisor will make sure that the staff stay out of sight. Be pampered and don't lift a finger...

Windu Asri is located in Complex Vila Lumbung at Jalan Petitenget. Being in the fashionable Petitenget/Seminyak area it is conveniently positioned for shopping and near a growing number of designer boutiques, in addition to a plenitude of sumptuous spas, chic lounges and vibrant nightspots, including the popular Potato Head Beachclub.
The villa is a short stroll from Legian Beach, well-known for its picture-perfect sunsets. A wide choice of fine dining restaurants, including Ku De Ta, Hu'u, Metis, La Lucciola, Sardine, Merah Putih, Mosaic Beach Club and Sarong are less than a kilometre away.
The location offers easy access to the mountains and rice terraces on the western slopes; it is less than an hour from the cultural and artistic town of Ubud, and just five minutes' from the Sunset Route, gateway to the eastern side of the island.
Aeroport
14 km (30 minute drive, depending on the traffic) - transfers from and to airport arranged and included in rate.
Beach
10 minute walk or 3 minutes by car to beach, surfing and swimming at Legian Beach.

Additional Notes
Children
The attractions and advantages offered by a villa for a family holiday are many, including access to your own private facilities and the freedom to use them whenever you wish.Knowing the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without worrying about other guests is a real plus, and one that means parents are certain to have a more relaxed holiday. The friendly staff at Villa Windu Asri make youngsters feel as welcome as adults; full-time babysitting or child-minding services can be arranged at a very reasonable extra cost.
Although Windu Asri is a great villa for families, toddlers will need to be supervised on the stairs and around the swimming pool; a removable pool fence is available without cost and will be erected at your request. Young children can be easily supervised in the pool as it is visible from all areas of the open-plan living pavilion. Children can also enjoy watching TV or DVDs in the upper-floor media room or in the bedrooms.
The fully-equipped kitchen is able to cater for fussy young eaters or babies. Just discuss your requirements and meal schedules with the Chef and the staff will take care of the rest.
Don't worry about packing all that cumbersome kids' equipment for your stay. Just let us know what you need, and anything we do not have in-house (villa facilities include rollaway beds, cots and highchairs) can be hired on your behalf.
Gym
For those wishing to "keep in shape" while enjoying the hospitality and facilities of Windu Asri and the excitement of a holiday on "the Island of the Gods", the well equipped Gym is accessed from the front balcony, overlooking the entrance garden and its' bubbling fountain.The spacious mirror-clad Gym is air-conditioning and is well equipped with:

Massage
Release built up tension with a traditional Balinese massage by the pool. Using a combination of gentle stretches, acupressure and aromatherapy oils to stimulate the flow of blood, oxygen and energy around your body, you will feel totally relaxed in no time.
Foot reflexology
Foot reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principle that there are reflexes in the feet which correspond to every part of the body. Through application of pressure on these reflexes tension is relieved and circulation improved leaving you feeling balanced.
Body scrub
A full body scrub will exfoliate and hydrate your skin leaving it soft and smooth. A rejuvenating scrub combines an abrasive material such as salt, coffee, rice bran or pecan hulls with essential oils to remove any impurities and make your skin glow.
Manucure and pedicure
Our hands and feet work hard for us every day but rarely get the attention they deserve. Treat them to a manicure or pedicure, which usually comes with the added bonus of a quick hand or foot massage.
Event
Windu Asri is ideally suited as a venue for small to medium events or parties, with in-house accommodation for twelve adult guests; additional numbers can be accommodated on a shared room basis by arrangement with the villa management. Sit down dinners for of up to the 24 guests accommodated within Windu Asri can be catered for by the villa staff.For larger numbers involving outside guests we can recommend expert event organizers, florists, decorators and caterers, so you can focus on relaxing and celebrating with your guests. Seated meals or cocktail events and buffet style meals for up to 40 guests can be comfortably hosted; however this will require the involvement of external specialists and hire of additional equipment.
