One&Only Reethi Rah offers kids the best of all possible holidays, ensuring that parents have quality time for themselves whilst their children experience a new sense of fun-filled independence in the lap of luxury.One&Only?s signature KidsOnly and OneTribe programmes, as well as teen activities at ClubOne, are carefully tailored to younger guests ? providing children ages 4 to 11 and teens ages 12 to 17 with an exciting roster of activities and experiences that allow for their own personal discovery and enjoyment.
KidsOnly is offered complimentary for children aged between 4 and 9. Two and three year olds are welcome, but must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian. Under the expert care of a team of dedicated and fully-certified counsellors, children enjoy their own section of the resort with separate dining facilities, a clubhouse featuring the latest in computer technology, arts and crafts, a sporting facility and a swimming pool.
For babies and toddlers, the resort offers professional nanny services at a nominal fee (24-hour notice required), as well as convenience items such as bottle warmers, sterilisers and baby monitor sets. Complimentary cots for children below the age of three are available upon request.
The tweens club OneTribe, welcomes children between the ages of 9 and 11. Reethi Restaurant - A Theatre of DiningReethi Restaurant is the main dining lodge of One&Only Reethi Rah and offers a theatrical experience with spectacular settings, rich colours, and the ever-changing scenery of the sky and ocean all around.
Rah Bar
The stylish poolside bar has been designed on 3 levels, so that everyone can enjoy views of the sea. The lowest part, closest to the sea, is the counter, which seats 32 people. The levels rise by 45 centimetres each time finally reaching the third level, which is the band area. The band is entirely hidden behind a complete wall of carved timber panels 10 metres long, which slide back when the band starts playing.
Fanditha
Fanditha, meaning 'magic' in the local language of Dhivehi, is on the northernmost point of the island, a romantic beach restaurant in the sand with day beds and giant cushions. At night, vintage brass hurricane lamps, huge candles and crystal chandeliers, carved colonial chairs, shisha pipes and magnums of pink champagne creates the ultimate in shipwreck chic. ?Fanditha is all about spontaneity,? comments Gathy. ?It's about being on the beach, if it rains it doesn't matter, it's about partying and being on holiday.?
Chef's Garden
This inspiring outdoor restaurant allows guests a truly unique 'garden-to-table' al fresco dining experience, set amidst beautiful organic vegetables, fresh herbs and the famous Orchid House. Chef 's Garden was designed to be aesthetic, educational and of course to supply seasonal bounty to the table.
Tapasake
Tapasake is a cool and sophisticated Japanese restaurant suspended over water, the first of its kind in the Maldives. Here again Gathy has created different seating areas within one restaurant: including the terrace, with its long, communal table, a simple granite slab overlooking the lagoon; the granite and mirror-polished stainless steel Sushi Bar, lit by hanging candles; 2 over-water pavilions with round tables for 6 people; the Chef's Table for parties of 12; as well as tables in the centre of the restaurant.
Wedding
Glorious tropical surroundings at One&Only Reethi Rah provide the perfect island hideaway for celebrating a new life together. Against the stunning backdrop of the Indian Ocean, with a gentle breeze rustling the palm trees, experience a chic wedding ceremony or enjoy an inimitable honeymoon.Wedding ceremonies* take place on one of the resort's 12 pristine white sandy beaches, down a petal-strewn 'aisle' through a fresh flower arch; at the Wedding Pavilion under a traditional thatched roof adorned with fresh flowers and orchids; or at Reethi Restaurant, with its dramatic high ceilings, vast pillars and temple-like décor.
At the end of each ceremony, the 'bridal buggy' whisks the new couple off to enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner under the stars. A stunning table, prepared using natural local materials including the island's signature orchids, serves as the setting where a special souvenir menu created for this most memorable occasion is presented by your waiter.
