Villa Raina,two-bedroom beachside Villa is designed around a central private swimming pool and are staffed with a private chef and a butler.

Private holiday homes just metres from the sea, the two Two-Bedroom villa feature separate bedrooms, a living and dining pavilion, a private swimming pool and the service of a cook and maid. Guests enjoy a buggy for each bedroom.

Your villa manager and staff will be on hand throughout your stay to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a dedicated and highly personalised concierge service during your stay. Private transfers, other in-resort activities can all be organised via our team.

From your first phone call right through until you get back home we're on hand to help with all aspects of your trip. Bordered by vibrant bougainvillea trellises, the 30-metre, aqua-tiled swimming pool stretches out in front of the Clubhouse. Bask on your umbrella-shaded sun-bed or one of the three open-air salas where comfy mattresses reign supreme.

Resort's powdery white-sand beach stretches the full 6.5-kilometre perimeter of the island, enclosing an unspoilt tropical wilderness. A pristine coral reef awaits exploration just offshore.

Planes
The island has its own airstrip and is only accessible by plane. Fly into the Philippines' capital's Manila Ninoy Aquino International Airport (www.manila-airport.net), where you can pick up the super-scenic 70-minute flight to the island (not included in rates; 20kg weight limit a passenger, including hand luggage). Enjoy panoramic views as you wing your way there on the 19-seat twin-engine plane.

Activities

Your villa manager will have a wealth of information about places of interest and will help arrange transport and make any bookings required. Do also ask the staff about the area too. Most will live nearby and can give an interesting insight into some of the fascinating aspects of local life...

Family-friendly Resort's kids' activity coordinator hosts a range of indoor and outdoor distractions, including arts and crafts, movie nights, tree-planting and organic gardening. Older kids will enjoy the resort's active mix of tennis, nature walks, cycling, swimming, snorkelling, marine sports (such as windsurfing, kayaking and sailing) and dive centre (for kids aged eight or over only). Little ones will love watching turtles hatch in season.

On land, tennis courts and bicycles are complemented by nature walks, which take in the lush indigenous plants as well as the dozens of bird species that make seasonal homes on the island and the nesting sites of green and hawksbill sea turtles. At night, an astronomical refracting telescope helps get up close to the stars

  • Powdery white sand encircles the whole of Pamalican, perfect for circumnavigating the island barefoot.
The sand near the Beach Club is lined with umbrellas and reclining chairs; all meals are served in its open-air pavilion and pillow-strewn deck.

  • Gentle breezes make sailing and windsurfing year-around pleasures at the Resort.
A number of watercraft and windsurfing gear suitable for all abilities is available at the Sea Sports and Windsurf Huts, as well as kayaks and fishing equipment.

Clear waters ensure excellent visibility, and scuba and snorkelling guides can cater to divers of all abilities, including complete beginners.

Cruise
resort's large fleet of boats is available for a variety of activities and excursions, as well as private charters. Visit nearby islands or stop at offshore reefs for snorkelling; fish in the turquoise waters, guided by the resort's expert staff; or enjoy lunch as you drift along in the cooling breeze.

  • Explore the chamging hues of the waters surrounding pamalican from the pontoon boat as the sun sets, with a cocktail in hand.
Moonlight and starlight cruises are also available, offering a different perspective on the island; return to a private barbecue and bonfire at your villa.

  • Resort's fleet includes several motor boat as well as a pontoon boat and a number of sailboats.
Whether it is island hopping, sailing the cooling winds or cruising in the pristine waters, Resort' watercraft are at the ready, with instruction and guides available to accompany you.

Villa is staffed with a dedicated chef and a personal villa attendant who oversees all arrangements, requests and activities. Owners also have access to all resort services. These include concierge, buggies, guiding and babysitting services, as well as Villa maintenance and security.

Villa owners have privileged access to all of Resort's facilities and amenities, including the Clubhouse Restaurant, Beach Club, Lagoon Club, Aman Spa, Pilates studio, yoga studio and gym.

Children
Welcome: baby cots and extra beds or day-beds for under-12s can be provided for free. Babysitting with hotel staff can be arranged  with 48 hours' notice.

Children old enough to swim and enjoy the wide range of watersports and kids' club activities.

Children are welcome in the hotel's Clubhouse restaurant which offers a kids' menu, and at the Beach and Lagoon Clubs. Lunch at the Windsurf Hut is bound to be a hit, with pizzas cooked in a wood-burning oven and consumed on the sand.

Dining
Locally-caught seafood and island-grown vegetables and herbs take prominence on Resort's menu. Served across venues from the Clubhouse Restaurant and Beach Club to private salas and beach barbecues, dishes can be centred around ingredients that guests pick themselves from the island's organic garden.

  • Grouper, crabs, lobster and sea urchin are among the daily catches by local fisherman, along with a variety of other seasonal seafood.
The island's garden grows four varieties of tomato, a range of herbs, aubergine, pumpkin, beans and much more, and all further ingredients are locally sourced in the Philippines

  • A bamboo platform raft with thatched roof, the Kawayan bar was made for lounging, snorkelling and enjoying the sea.
Afloat on the pristine waters by the Pamalican Island, a bartender serves cocktails before an on-board picnic or barbecue, as schools of vibrant fish swim by.
