Lamoon villa means 'stories' in ancient Sanskrit, and as soon as you approach this impressive property a tale of intrigue and luxury be-gins. As you enter the compound a feeling of exclusivity and opu-lence prevails with external walls of natural stone adding absolute privacy to the surroundings, while lovingly tended tropical gardens enhance the overall living environment.
Inside Lamoon villa, stylish, comfortable furnishings complement the villa's striking architectural features. Carefully selected natural materials give the villa a powerful sense of place and guests can enjoy breathtaking ocean views from all the rooms. The villa's intelligent design opens onto wide terraces and a generous infinity pool making it easy to spend hours just relaxing and enjoying the pristine surroundings.
Large wooden doors at Lamoon villa open into an astonishing elevated living area. This expansive room runs virtually the whole width of the property and boasts a high, wood-lined, vaulted ceil-ing with windows on both sides that extend the space into the views and add to the unique ambience of an already impressive room.
An eye-catching rectangular dining table takes centre stage, served by a well equipped, modern kitchen area with breakfast bar, which is the perfect place for more casual meals. All the high-end branded appliances are fitted and the kitchen not only looks fabu-lous, with wooden units, chrome fittings and marble surfaces, but is also well designed to include everything guests might need dur-ing their stay. There's even a built-in wine cooler for chilled re-freshments.
On the opposite side of the dining table, the expansive lounge area features a wall-mounted, flat screen TV surrounded by comfortable sofas and chairs, with the entire space decorated with contempo-rary ornaments and works of art. Running the entire length of the room, a covered balcony with an almost invisible glass barrier looks out over the garden and pool. All-weather chairs are posi-tioned to take in the views and also offer the perfect spot for after-noon repose or a sundowner at dusk.
Stairs on both sides of the balcony lead down to the lower level of the villa where three appealing guest bedrooms face out across the garden, pool and the views. A covered walkway connects the rooms and doubles as a shaded outdoor terrace.
Each of the three bedrooms has ample built-in storage space and an en-suite rain shower room. All the rooms have king size double beds, making this an ideal family or group villa. High-quality furnishings and accessories, plush and stylish interiors make the bedrooms far more than simple sleeping spaces.
In front of this bedroom level a lawned garden leads to the pool terrace. To one side of the pool, sunken stools are served by a built in bar , incorporated into a covered sala or gazebo, which also houses a dining table and cushioned bench seats.
On the other side of the pool, the master suite offers an experience to remember. A vaulted wooden ceiling with glass at the front and back creates an airy, light atmosphere with doors opening directly onto the pool terrace and drawing in the spectacular views. A sepa-rate dressing area behind the king sized bed leads into an en-suite bathroom with twin sinks, a rain shower and an indulgent terrazzo bathtub with windows looking directly out to the ocean beyond.

always prepared to assist you day and night.

Location
Lamoon villa is situated in Bo Phut Hills. The villa command spectacular views
over Bo Phut, Big Buddha (Bang Rak) and Chaweng bays, as well as making
the most of their stunning jungle and coconut grove surroundings.
Encircled
by natural vegetation, the villa guarantee total privacy, yet only
2.5km down the hill is lively Bo Phut Fisherman's Village where you'll
find shops, ATMs and plenty of restaurants, ranging from Thai and
Western, to Japanese, Spanish and Mexican. Do visit the walking street
market here on a Friday evening ? as well as great street food and
cocktails, there are stands selling everything from clothing to handmade
décor items, and plenty of live entertainment too. The market dies
down by about 11pm, but if you want to keep on partying the bustling
nightlife of Chaweng is only 6km away.

About Bo Phut
The
quaint village of Bo Phut is something of a contrast to neighbouring
Chaweng, which is Koh Samui's main tourist centre. Bo Phut is much
smaller than Chaweng, a picturesque seaside village and beach with a
laid back, almost Mediterranean atmosphere focused around a narrow,
one-way street lined with a good mix of restaurants and bars, many
housed in traditional wooden buildings. The original fishing village has
expanded to the point that it can no longer be called sleepy and the
jetty is a popular starting point for speedboat trips to outer islands
including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and Ang Thong National Marine Park. Just
past the village, Bo Phut bay stretches north and is fringed with
palm-fronted, upscale boutique resorts. Bo Phut district actually covers
a relatively large part of Koh Samui, stretching from the main west
coast tourist centre of Chaweng to Mae Nam beach in the north. In the
last few years, the hills behind the original village have become the
location of choice for a number of new high-end residential
developments. Large luxury villas are scattered amongst the palm
plantations and the main road that serves them is now lined with all
kinds of commercial suppliers, furniture outlets and convenience stores.

Malai villa has an extensive reasonably priced menu of home-style Thai, Asian and international dishes that cater to all tastes, as well as vegetarian options, children's favourites and light snacks. There's also a choice of Thai set dinners, and barbecue menus and an excellent drinks menu. The experienced chef is happy to tailor meals to accommodate any special dietary requirements. He will also prepare off-menu items, shopping for groceries, keeping the receipts.Complimentary breakfast is available daily, and tea, coffee and water are available on a complimentary basis through the day.
