Hidden from the world for many years,

Accommodation
villa Pranee is the jewel in the crown of this delightful five-villa estate in the Bo Put hills. The extent of inclusive facilities and services at this six-bedroom residence is astounding. A coach is on hand at the floodlit tennis court, a personal trainer shows how to pack a punch in the muay Thai boxing ring, and a well-equipped gym awaits those who don?t want to let their fitness regime slip while on holiday.
But it's the private club, spa and steam room at villa Pranee that really adds flair. Let therapists ease work-weary muscles (a one-hour complimentary massage per guest is included in your stay). Spin discs in the club's DJ booth, strut your stuff on the dance floor or serenade the crowd with some karaoke ? a well-stocked cocktail bar will keep the party going. Grab a cigar and a whisky and enjoy a game of poker or billiards while the younger crowd escapes with X-Box or PlayStation in the games room. Although Bo Phut Fisherman's Village, with its wide assortment of restaurants, is only 2.5km away, the culinary talents of Resort's kitchen team (trained by Italian chef Alessandro Verdenelli) are not to be ignored. Delicious meals, selected from the villa's priced menu (with plenty of healthy options), are prepared in Resort's professional kitchen and enjoyed in the villa's dining room table, or alfresco in the sala by the pool, while daily continental or cooked breakfast is prepared and served at the villa and included in your rate.

Location
Villa Pranee is situated in Bo Phut Hills. The villa command spectacular views
over Bo Phut, Big Buddha (Bang Rak) and Chaweng bays, as well as making
the most of their stunning jungle and coconut grove surroundings.
Encircled
by natural vegetation, the villa guarantee total privacy, yet only
2.5km down the hill is lively Bo Phut Fisherman's Village where you'll
find shops, ATMs and plenty of restaurants, ranging from Thai and
Western, to Japanese, Spanish and Mexican. Do visit the walking street
market here on a Friday evening ? as well as great street food and
cocktails, there are stands selling everything from clothing to handmade
décor items, and plenty of live entertainment too. The market dies
down by about 11pm, but if you want to keep on partying the bustling
nightlife of Chaweng is only 6km away.

About Bo Phut
The
quaint village of Bo Phut is something of a contrast to neighbouring
Chaweng, which is Koh Samui's main tourist centre. Bo Phut is much
smaller than Chaweng, a picturesque seaside village and beach with a
laid back, almost Mediterranean atmosphere focused around a narrow,
one-way street lined with a good mix of restaurants and bars, many
housed in traditional wooden buildings. The original fishing village has
expanded to the point that it can no longer be called sleepy and the
jetty is a popular starting point for speedboat trips to outer islands
including Koh Phangan, Koh Tao and Ang Thong National Marine Park. Just
past the village, Bo Phut bay stretches north and is fringed with
palm-fronted, upscale boutique resorts. Bo Phut district actually covers
a relatively large part of Koh Samui, stretching from the main west
coast tourist centre of Chaweng to Mae Nam beach in the north. In the
last few years, the hills behind the original village have become the
location of choice for a number of new high-end residential
developments. Large luxury villas are scattered amongst the palm
plantations and the main road that serves them is now lined with all
kinds of commercial suppliers, furniture outlets and convenience stores.

Pranee villa has an extensive reasonably priced menu of home-style Thai, Asian and international dishes that cater to all tastes, as well as vegetarian options, children's favourites and light snacks. There's also a choice of Thai set dinners, and barbecue menus and an excellent drinks menu. The experienced chef is happy to tailor meals to accommodate any special dietary requirements. He will also prepare off-menu items, shopping for groceries, keeping the receipts.Complimentary breakfast is available daily, and tea, coffee and water are available on a complimentary basis through the day.
