Measuring 6,756 yards, the course features a wealth of scenic lagoons, coconut groves and undulating fairways. After fully reopening in January 2015, the new landscape provides golfers with two distinct scenic experiences with lush tropical foliage on the front nine, while the back holes feature coconut groves and sand bunkers. A scenic surrounds comprising of Phuket Mountains and environmental lagoons, combine to make Laguna Golf Phuket a truly idyllic golf paradise.

•     Loch Palm Golf

Loch Palm Golf Club is built around Crystal Lake, the glistening central feature of the course and the largest body of water on any Phuket golf course. Loch Palm has smooth slopes and dramatic elevation changes. It will take you across and around ravines and plateaus that will test your skills at many levels of play. The front nine sits amid lakes and palm trees. The second nine moves you though mountains, hitting uphill and downhill with woods, irons and even your putter!!

Temples
Phuket has many temples that are worth visiting.

•     Wat Chalong

Wat Chalong ( Chalong Temple ) is the largest of Phuket's temples, and the most visited. Locals and many Thai tourists come to pray and pay respects to several revered monks who were the founders of Wat Chalong, among them Luang Pho Cham and Luang Pho Chuang, 2 monks, who led the citizens of Chalong Sub district fighting against the Chinese rebellion in 1876 and with their knowledge of herbal medicine helped the injured.

•     Big Buddha

Phuket's Big Buddha is one of the island's most important and revered landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, it is easily seen from far away. The lofty site offers the best 360-degree views of the island, with sweeping vistas of Phuket Town, Kata, Karon beaches, Chalong Bay and more.)

•     Wat Khao Rang

Wat Khao Rang (or Sumnak Song Khao Rang) enjoys a great location in Phuket Town, on the slope of the popular Rang Hill. It has a large golden sitting Buddha - the first of its kind on the island and the spiritual centre of the island for many locals. This temple is busy at weekends when locals pay a visit. It not only looks amazing, it was also the first big Buddha image Phuket ever had until the giant Buddha was built in the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata. Wat Khao Rang grounds are divided in two areas: the original building supporting the sitting Buddha on its roof, with its back against the green hillside, and the new temple next to it.

•     Wat Baan Kamala

Wat Baan Kamala (Kamala temple) is a classic Buddhist temple located on kamala beachfront towards its Southern end. At the image of the greatly open-minded Thailand which has always guaranteed religious freedom, Wat Kamala is the Buddhist centre of this Muslim village. Entirely rebuilt and renovated after the 2004's tsunami, Wat Baan Kamala is set in a nicely landscaped garden and features five buildings: a Ubosot (ordination hall), a bell tower, the monks? dormitory and refectory, and two small constructions housing Buddha images and statues. The end of afternoon is the best time to visit the temple while it is softly and warmly illuminated by the last sun-rays; visitors can then fully enjoy the peacefulness of the place.

Beaches

•     Kamala Beach

Kamala Beach lies just north of the lights and noise of Patong and is a quieter stretch of sand with a more relaxed feel. This well-enclosed bay and fishing village surrounded by forested hills is one of the most beautiful places in Phuket.

•     Surin Beach

Fine white sand and turquoise water has ensured that the picturesque beach is very popular with tourists and Thais alike.

•     Layan Beach

Layan Beach is the name of the northern end of Bangtao Beach on the west coast of Phuket. Unlike the majority of Phuket?s west coast beaches, it is still a very tranquil area, where you can lie and relax under the shade of the tall pine trees bordering the beach. Most people who visit this superb beach are Thai and expats, and as a result there are no long lines of beach chairs and umbrellas, it all looks the same as it used to 20 years ago. The sea is pretty calm here due to the fact that the beach is sheltered by Koh Kala, a small island located at its northern part.

Snorkelling
If you don't fancy diving or simply haven't got the time to do a dive course, snorkeling is an enjoyable way to view Phuket's underwater beauty. An added bonus to snorkelling is that you have a better chance of seeing fish, as the bubbles from aqua lungs can frighten them away.

Stand-up paddle
It's easy, fun, and everyone can do it!
For beginners or advanced people, you'll (re)discover the water, with an original point of view. No need to be a great windsurfer or surfer, SUP is for everyone!
Standing on a paddleboard gives you a higher viewpoint, increasing visibility of what is going on around you, as well as a better view of the underwater life.

Surfing
Kamala is one of the favourite surfing spots in Phuket after Kata Noi and Kalim beaches. Kamala Beach features three clear sections, each of them offering an excellent surfers' playground as following: the southern part of the beach ? from the temple to the village ? with its gentle swell is the right spot for beginners at medium/high tide; the central area  from the village to Phuket Fantasea  is more recommended for advanced surfers as it hosts sandbanks creating three-metre high waves; the northern end of the beach is the best spot but requires excellent skills as a tricky swell is created here by a small reef point break.

Kitesurfing
Kitesurfing is an extreme sport that has only recently begun to take off on Phuket. The best winds are from June through to Feb with the main areas for kitesurfing on Phuket being Chalong and Rawai on the southeast coast and Nai Yang on the northwest coast.

Jet skis can be a fun and exhilarating way to enjoy Phuket's warm waters and can be rented

Fishing
Phuket has been gaining an international reputation for game fishing. The surrounding waters of the Andaman Sea and the now famous Drop Off, west of Phuket, are home to some of the world?s most prized game fish.
The fish-rich waters of the Andaman Sea offer exceptional sportfishing for Wahoo, Dorado, Barracuda, Giant Trevally, Rainbow Runner, King Mackerel, Cobia, Queenfish, numerous species of Tuna, several species of Shark and one of the most sought-after gamefish ? the Black Marlin.

Under the water
Diving
Diving  is yet another reason to visit this tropical wonderland! With clear blue waters, warm waters and amazing marine life, it's no surprise that the area is an extremely popular destination for both experienced divers and those wanting to take up the sport.

Scuba diving
Phuket ranks as one of the world's top ten dive destinations, and with good reason. The water is warm and teeming with marine life; the Andaman being one of the most diverse seas on the planet. If you are lucky you might see whale sharks and manta rays. There are literally hundreds of islands and reefs to be explored by day trips or liveaboard cruises from Phuket, and a wealth of sites providing a wide range of diving opportunities.
