Phuket has many temples that are worth visiting.

•     Wat Chalong

Wat Chalong ( Chalong Temple ) is the largest of Phuket's temples, and the most visited. Locals and many Thai tourists come to pray and pay respects to several revered monks who were the founders of Wat Chalong, among them Luang Pho Cham and Luang Pho Chuang, 2 monks, who led the citizens of Chalong Sub district fighting against the Chinese rebellion in 1876 and with their knowledge of herbal medicine helped the injured.

•     Big Buddha

Phuket's Big Buddha is one of the island's most important and revered landmarks on the island. The huge image sits on top of the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata and, at 45 metres tall, it is easily seen from far away. The lofty site offers the best 360-degree views of the island, with sweeping vistas of Phuket Town, Kata, Karon beaches, Chalong Bay and more).

•     Wat Khao Rang

Wat Khao Rang (or Sumnak Song Khao Rang) enjoys a great location in Phuket Town, on the slope of the popular Rang Hill. It has a large golden sitting Buddha - the first of its kind on the island and the spiritual centre of the island for many locals. This temple is busy at weekends when locals pay a visit. It not only looks amazing, it was also the first big Buddha image Phuket ever had until the giant Buddha was built in the Nakkerd Hills between Chalong and Kata. Wat Khao Rang grounds are divided in two areas: the original building supporting the sitting Buddha on its roof, with its back against the green hillside, and the new temple next to it.

Snorkelling
If you don't fancy diving or simply haven't got the time to do a dive course, snorkeling is an enjoyable way to view Phuket's underwater beauty. An added bonus to snorkelling is that you have a better chance of seeing fish, as the bubbles from aqua lungs can frighten them away.

Phuket has been gaining an international reputation for game fishing. The surrounding waters of the Andaman Sea and the now famous Drop Off, west of Phuket, are home to some of the world?s most prized game fish.
The fish-rich waters of the Andaman Sea offer exceptional sportfishing for Wahoo, Dorado, Barracuda, Giant Trevally, Rainbow Runner, King Mackerel, Cobia, Queenfish, numerous species of Tuna, several species of Shark and one of the most sought-after gamefish - the Black Marlin.

Phuket ranks as one of the world's top ten dive destinations, and with good reason. The water is warm and teeming with marine life; the Andaman being one of the most diverse seas on the planet. If you are lucky you might see whale sharks and manta rays. There are literally hundreds of islands and reefs to be explored by day trips or liveaboard cruises from Phuket, and a wealth of sites providing a wide range of diving opportunities.

Daily continental breakfasts, featuring fresh tropical fruits, are included in your rate.  Plan lunches and dinners from the wide selection of Thai, Western, vegetarian and kids' dishes on the villa's suggestion menu, or explore the delicious flavours of Thai cuisine by sampling one of the set meals carefully curated by the chef.

Phuket-style dishes including mee Hokkien (fried noodles), bue tod (deep fried spicy prawn) offer some tempting regional tastes while desserts have a decidedly Thai flavour with mango and sticky rice and boa loy (rice balls in coconut milk) among the choices. And guests are sure to want to make use of the lavish barbecue entertaining area by choosing from the tantalising grilled meats, lobster, tiger prawn, fish and vegetarian selections for a fabulous sunset feast.  Please discuss any dietary restrictions or special meal requests with your manager and the chef will do his or her best to accommodate them.

The chef also manages all the grocery shopping which is charged to guests at market price plus a 20% handling fee and a government tax, with a minimum shopping fee of THB 750.  The staff will keep the receipts for reference when settling the bills.
