This stunning penthouse apartment is a sensational addition to the growing stable of luxury chalets within the exclusive resort of St. Christoph. Valfagehr is a truly beautiful home which delights in the owner's attention to detail. The interior embraces contemporary features and ensures maximum luxury for all guests. The authentic woods and timbers create the perfect alpine-inspired ambiance throughout.

Accommodation

You enter the property into the entrance hallway where a short walkway leads you to the large open plan living area. The high ceilings afford spectacular panoramic views across the Verwall valley and the use of space makes you feel like you are in a free-standing chalet.
This beautiful room offers plenty of space to socialise and entertain. Two comfy sofas surround a large wood burning fireplace which is the focal point of the room.

Large French windows open out on to the wonderful terrace where stylish seating is perfectly positioned to take in the incredible views and provides an ideal spot for guests to enjoy a glass of champagne in the warmer spring months. By day, light floods into the room, and in the evening, the sensitive lighting and incredible mountain backdrop transforms the apartment into a wonderful, sophisticated setting.

Beyond this room is a wonderful TV snug ideal for catching up on the latest movie after dinner. The well-equipped kitchen and open plan dining table is set back from the main seating area. The solid wood dining table seats up to 12 guests and sits beneath an impressive chandelier creating the perfect space to entertain.

There are five beautiful bedrooms in the penthouse. There are four double bedrooms, two of which can be made into twin bedrooms (with a small gap between the beds). All the bedrooms have either en-suite bathrooms or en-suite shower rooms. There is a wonderful bunk bedroom which can sleep up to four children, also with an en-suite bathroom.

For guests wanting ultimate relaxation, there is a wonderful sauna and bucket shower in the apartment. Guests at the penthouse are offered free use of all facilities at the Alberg Hospiz Hotel, which include a full spa and swimming pool as well as childcare (an additional charge).

This stunning hotel which is less than a two-minute stroll away, whether above ground or via an underground walkway, is also home to five distinct and unique restaurants, each with a different theme, giving self-catered guests a considerable choice for dining options over the course of a week's stay.

The property is sold on a catered or self-catered basis. The property normally comes with a dedicated driver service from 8.30am - 1am daily when sold on a fully catered basis. The service operates between St. Christoph and St. Anton. The driver service does not extend to Lech.

Chalet Valfagehr staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Manager
Your chalet manager and staff will be on hand throughout your stay to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a dedicated and highly personalised concierge service during your stay. Private transfers, ski lessons and other in-resort activities can all be organised via our team.

Concierge
From your first phone call right through until you get back home we're on hand to help with all aspects of your trip. We can assist with standard services from spa treatments and restaurant reservations right through to more challenging and unique requests. You'll also have access to local support in your destination for on the spot help.

Housekeeping Staff

Location

For ski enthusiasts, the location is idyllic as the ski run home takes you to just across the road from the apartment and the St. Christophbahn lift is just 150m from Valfagehr. You can reach the top of Valluga, which is the highest point of the Arlberg ski region, faster from St. Christoph than any of the other resorts in the Alberg.

It does not all have to be about skiing in St. Anton

If you do not ski or fancy a break from the slopes there is so much more to do in St. Anton. Snowshoeing, paragliding, ice-climbing or tobogganing trips can be organised to satisfy the adrenaline junkies among you. The state of the art indoor sports centre arl.rock, offers a combination of indoor and outdoor climbing routes in an area of almost 1,000m2 including boulder, lead, fixed-rope, and ice-climbing, as well as the new climbing trend of dry-tooling. The centre also boasts a four-lane bowling alley, indoor tennis, table tennis and squash courts.

Spa and fitness
For those looking for something less physical, the wellness centre in St. Anton gives you the perfect excuse to have a relaxing massage or to spend the day sunbathing and swimming in one of their outdoor pools.

Further afield
Innsbruck is just over an hour away from St. Anton, the capital of the Tyrol region. This beautiful city is renowned for its imperial and modern architecture. Traditional colourful buildings line the main streets and squares and the city are surrounded by majestic snow-capped mountains.

Mountain guiding
When you ski in St. Anton you will enjoy some of the very best off-piste skiing in the world and it is also the home to a number of excellent guides. We have worked with St. Anton Classic for the last four years and can highly recommend their guiding service however we can tailor the service and guide to each individual?s needs.

Heli-Skiing
The Arlberg region is the only region in Austria where heli-skiing is available. We can book you the most thrilling and spectacular day high up above the luxury chalets in St. Anton.

Ski Instruction
