With 60 hectares (150 acres) under the Cap Canaille, within the Calanques National Park, the Domaine de L'Arene is one of the largest and most prestigious private properties on the French Riviera. This luxury villa in Cassis is available for weekly rentals and also hosts seminars, events and wellness retreats.
Accommodation
The former Revestel hotel, which welcomed Virginia Woolf in the 20's
during her stay on the French Riviera in Cassis, is a prestigious villa
of 600sqm (6 450 sqft) that was completely renovated by its new owners
in 2017. The four reception rooms on the sea and the eleven bedrooms can
comfortably welcome twenty four guests. The huge terrace of 500sqm (5
400 sqft) overlooks the beach of the arena with turquoise waters,
accessible on foot by a private road in 5 minutes.
The property has a large heated swimming pool (13m, 42 ft).
The Domaine de L'Arene is one of the most beautiful properties in Cassis, due to its location and its renovation which combines modernity, simplicity, comfort and technology. Pool
The swimming pool is 13 meters by 5 and is heated to 26 degrees from beginning of April to end of October. Daily maintenance.
Location
The Revestel district where the house is located is the prettiest corner of Cassis because it is where all the beautiful properties and part of the vineyards are. The house is the last under Cape Canaille, the largest sea cliff in Europe. It is located on 60 hectares of land, which is part of the Calanques National Park.
The village and the charming port of Cassis are less than 15 minutes away on foot. Cassis train station is 8 minutes by car (bus also from the station to the city center). Marseille station is 35 minutes away and Aix TGV station 45 minutes. Marseille / Marignane airport is 45 minutes away.
It will take you less than 15 minutes by foot to reach the village and the charming port of Cassis.

The region is full of beautiful hiking trails. The most famous are those of the calanques and our favorite the one between Morgiou and Sormiou.

Coralie regularly organizes yoga classes on the Corton beach (5 minutes walk) or paddle yoga from the beach in the city center. Private lessons can also be organized at home.
Electric bikes tours
Emilien and his team take you on the trails of Cassis to explore the calanques and vineyards and let you admire the view from the legendary "route des crêtes".
