Overview
Located on the Southern most point of Kissamos Bay, Horea Beachfront Estate combines two private villas to bring total accommodations up to fourteen.
In addition, the area is rich in natural wildlife with falcons, herons
and other birds of prey hovering close to the beach, while there is also
a good chance you will spot a sandpiper.
The beach at Korfalonas is
perfectly safe for snorkelling, swimming and fishing, or simply relaxing
and taking in the Aegean panorama.
Accommodation
Designed with luxury holiday living in mind and with many fabulous and innovative features, the new villas enjoy a privileged beachfront position just a few metres from waters of Kissamos Bay, with views over the two majestic peninsulas of northwest Crete.
They offer an unrivalled outlook, 150 metres of beach frontage, infinity pools, private terraces, and the lapping turquoise Aegean washing the pebble/sand beach, which gives way to fine sand once you step into the water.
The three villas all part of one larger structure, each with their own style and privacy but connected by interlocking doors. That allows them to be rented as self-contained units.
They are set amid gardens planted with salt-resistant native species such as the daisy-like mesembryanthemum, yellow gazanias and tamarisks.
Constructed of local Kissamos limestone, the three new villas have been designed by Chania-based architect and interior and exterior designer Rena Mania.
Using colours and materials that are welcoming in their warmth and texture, along with friendly neutral shades that will subtly delight guests, each residence enjoys the highest quality furnishings and installations.
Solar panels and ground source heat pumps provide the eco-friendly villas with sustainable energy.
All seven of Horea's bedrooms feature en-suite bathrooms with stand-alone showers. There are three bedrooms on the west side of the villa, two on the east, and the two more in the annex space.

Perfectly-located, they are a mere 15 minutes' drive from the stunning
Falasarna beach and close to world-famous Balos lagoon. Kissamos town,
with its shops, cafes and tavernas, is 1km away.
Kissamos Bay is a small fishing village in the Chania region. Well known for several important archeological finds, the old Venetian Governor's Palace now houses a town museum, great for an afternoon excursion. While you're there, explore some of the local craft shops, heritage sites, and delicious local cuisine, restaurants are easy to find along the waterfront.

On the land
Samaria GorgeThe gorge of Samaria is situated in the National park of Samaria, in the White Mountains in West Crete. The park is supervised by the Department of Forestry and the gorge is generally open only from the beginning of May to the end of October.
Paleochora
Paleochora is a delightful small town on the south coast of Crete just oozing with charm and character. It's beauty, tranquility and laid-back feel has earned it the affectionate term of "The bride of the Libyan Sea".
Restored Village of Milia
Milia is an authentic 17th century mountain settlement which has been transformed into an eco-friendly tourist complex which seems to have sprouted from the lands of Crete.
Kissamos (Kastelli) Area
With a population of around 15,000, the town of Kissamos has plenty of character and like all of Crete, it has a long history filled with legends and tradtions.

Just a few kilometers inland from Kolymbari and within a Protected Denomination of Origin (PDO) area, are the olive groves of the Astrikas Estate.
Knossos Palace
Located close to the modern city of Heraklion is Knossos Palace, the ancient city of Crete and the largest archaeological site on the island.

Elafonissi Beach
Elafonissi is in west Crete, about 45 kilometres
southwest of Kastelli. The Elafonissi area includes the beach, the islet
200 metres offshore and the shallow lagoon between the two.
Falasarna Beach
Falasarna is a peaceful and golden sandy beach with
beautiful clear turquoise waters. There are just a few simple tavernas
and not much to do but except walk and absorb the wild beauty of the
area or relax in the sun. The beach is wide and seemingly endless.
From May to October, you can take daily cruises from Kissamos port to to Gramvousa Island and Balos Lagoon, leaving in the morning and returning in the evening.
From mid-June and until mid-September, there are also midday departures.
