Aegean Sea, each of the four-to-nine-bedroom villa features an open
terrace with sand-coloured marble floors, traditional dry stone-clad
walls and concrete columns and cornices.
Designed to meld with the landscape, the villa Poseidon enjoys sweeping views of rolling hills and the Aegean Sea.
Spread
over six levels all connected via elevators, the villa Poseidon occupies two
hectares (four acres) with seven pools, a comprehensive spa and a full
complement of staff. Down on the shore, a Beach Cabana provides a tenth
suite with a pool and direct beach access.
Nature is central to the villa's design. Reflection pools lined in green marble capture sea and
sky; fragrant gardens soothe the senses; and natural materials reinforce
a connection to the ancien landscape.

Spread
over six levels, all connected with elevators and with exceptional
views of rolling hills and the Aegean Sea, the nine-bedroom villa sleeps
up to twenty guests and is set on almost two hectares (four acres) with
six pools (including an indoor pool), a spa and a full complement of
staff.

The villa's six levels comprise nine en-suite bedrooms: three Master
Pavilions, each with a private pool; two Pavilions; two Pavilions and
two Studios. All enjoy a private terrace. A separate suite is contained
within the Beach Cabana on the shore.

entertainment room, a library and a comprehensive spa.

Nafplio
An hours drive from the Resort, the seaport town of Nafplio was modern Greece's first capital.
Monasteries
The abandoned Byzantine monastery of St Dimitrios is built into the rock-face on the lower slopes of Mount Avgo, near Pelei, around 30 minutes' drive from The Resort.
Also nearby, St George at Didima " a small but imposing church with lovely views " is signposted by meteorite holes in the road.
Island Hopping
Charter one of Amanzoe's high-speed watercrafts for a full- or half-day tour of the uninhabited isles and secluded coves off the coast of the Peloponnese peninsula.
Take a trip to the pretty island of Spetses, known for its seafaring traditions and Venetian and neoclassical architecture.
Visit Hydra, a car-free island famed for its vibrant dining and nightlife scene.
