Accommodation
Sa Gata is a
traditional and secluded four bedroom Mallorcan villa with plenty of
space for guests to relax and take in the beautiful views of the
Mediterranean Sea. This villa is full of history as the original turret
dates back to the 13th century.
Spread over three floors, Sa Gata
can sleep up to eight adults in four bedrooms. One bedroom is located
in the villa's signature turret, with a curved stairwell leading from a
luxurious bathroom on the lower level. Fantastic views of the dramatic
Mallorcan landscape can be seen from every room.
Sa Gata boasts an interconnected lounge and dining area, a perfect place to eat
your breakfast together and start your day. Outside of the villa, two of
the most popular shared places for guests to enjoy are the spacious
outdoor dining and lounge areas, both with breath-taking views of the
coastline. From here, it's only a short walk down to the private heated
swimming pool (12 x 5.5 metres).
You may just fall in love with
the villa's expert pairing of traditional architecture with colorful
contemporary artwork and furnishings. The living room, TV lounge and
dining area feature stone accent walls, beamed ceilings and cool
terracotta floors alongside sleek cream-colored sofas, graceful metal
chandeliers, wicker dining chairs and an assortment of vibrant modern
paintings. The kitchen is tucked into its own space with equal old-world
charm, but is fully equipped with state-of-the-art appliances and has a
lovely set of doors to the terrace.
The villa is laid out around
a private courtyard and opens to gorgeous outdoor living spaces, from a
heated pool and shaded dining area to a pavilion with a sitting area
and views over the estate to the sea. Though it has plenty of historic
character, it also has modern amenities such as air conditioning, a TV
and Wi-Fi.

Visitors
to the island of Mallorca typically arrive via the capital, Palma,
whose airport is around a 40 minute drive to the estate. The island is
well served by direct air connections from a range of European cities
both by scheduled and charter airlines; visitors from further afield
will need to connect via a European hub. To reach the estate we
recommend hiring a car which will give youadditional flexibility when
exploring the area. The traditional Mallorcan villages of Banyalbufar
and Esporles are a few kilometres away, providing a variety of
restaurants, tapas bars and other local amenities.

- Take a dip in your private heated pool just steps away from your villa.
- Play a spot of tennis on the nearby court (racquets and balls provided) this is shared by the villa Sa Gata.
- Take a walk around the estate which is 3km à 5km in size, or head straight down to the coast walk which starts from a pebble beach. Mallorca also has numerous other walking opportunities further afield.
- There are over 20 golf courses on the island, many of which are of a high standard; we can help with green reservations should you wish to visit one.
- Take a drive and explore some of the picturesque villages in the region.

The family friendly advantages of a villa holiday are many, including access to your own private facilities and the freedom to use them whenever you want. Knowing that the kids can run around happily, independently and safely, without you having to worry about other guests, is a real plus - and one that means parents are certain to have a more relaxed holiday too.Villa Sa Gata makes a great place for a family holiday. We have cots, high chairs, sterilizer, nappy bin, baby monitor, toys and a play rug for you to use. We are also happy to prepare children's meals that are tasty, well balanced, healthy and fun, keeping both the parents and kids happy!
Baby-sitting can be arranged and a charge will apply but please advise as early as possible if this may be required. Special food and beverages or simple snacks and light meals can be prepared according to your child's tastes.
Dining
Your rate includes daily continental breakfast plus lunch and dinner for six nights of your stay. Our chefs and hostess will prepare a selection of cold dishes for breakfast before leaving each evening and you can help yourself in the morning, so there's definitely no need to rush up! Lunch is served buffet style and three-course dinners can be tailor made according to your preferences, or we can serve local Mallorcan and Mediterranean style dishes. On one day during your stay we can arrange for you to visit some of the local restaurant offerings and are happy to organise reservations.All drinks including alcoholic beverages are included and you are welcome to help yourself. Our team will chat to you before you arrive to make sure we're stocked up with your favourite tipple. Most of our guests prefer to dine outdoors, and this is normally possible almost year round, weather permitting, but there is also a table in each villa's dining room that can accommodate everyone.
