Overview

This gorgeous chalet is situated in the high-end Swedish Quarter of Verbier, just minutes from the cable car and the village center. Enjoying serene privacy and spectacular mountain views, the villa features lovely outdoor areas, classic alpine interiors, and top-shelf contemporary luxury amenities.

Accommodation

This unique property is beautiful decorated throughout with a modern South African influence, mixed masterfully with the traditional aged wood and natural stone floors typical of Swiss chalets. Throughout, this alluring property is adorned with striking pieces of art, sumptuous fabrics, and exquisite furnishings.

Take the stairs down to the second floor where three individually decorated en-suite double bedrooms are located. Each bedroom has a distinctive design and colour scheme with sleek, modern en-suite bathrooms. The three bedrooms share a large sun-drenched south-facing terrace, the perfect spot to unwind and take in the stunning mountain views. The outdoor hot tub can be accessed from this terrace too. Also on this floor is the private laundry room and large ski and boot room.

Moving down to the ground floor, there is the fabulous master suite. A true haven of relaxation and serenity, this bedroom is luxuriously decorated with sumptuous fabrics and boasts high-vaulted ceilings, a fireplace, a large en-suite bathroom with separate shower, and a walk-in wardrobe. It also allows access to the outdoor hot tub and private terrace. After a hard day on the slopes, retreat to the spa to relax and unwind. From the in-chalet spa you can access the outdoor hot tub and there is a lovely hammam and massage treatment room.

Hidden away on the lower ground floor is the generous cinema and games room. A large L-shaped sofa with ample cushions surround the screen making it the ideal spot to catch up on the latest movies after dinner. The chalet is wired throughout with the wireless audio system Sonos. Each bedroom has a flat screen TV, the TV in the living area has Sky TV and Apple TV and Apple TV is also available in the cinema room.

Living & Dining Areas

The main entrance to the chalet opens onto the top floor, into the extremely spacious living and dining room, kitchen, and bar. A striking room, with double height open ceiling and double height sliding windows, leading to the wonderful balcony. The living area is focused around the large stone open fireplace surrounded by a sumptuous sofa and arm chairs, the ideal spot for enjoying a drink fixed by our host alongside our delicious canapÃ©s in front of a roaring fire. Ten guests can comfortably enjoy exquisite dinners around the dining table.

Chalet La Corniche staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Manager
Your chalet manager and staff will be on hand throughout your stay to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a dedicated and highly personalised concierge service during your stay. Private transfers, ski lessons and other in-resort activities can all be organised via our team.

Concierge
From your first phone call right through until you get back home we're on hand to help with all aspects of your trip. We can assist with standard services from spa treatments and restaurant reservations right through to more challenging and unique requests. You'll also have access to local support in your destination for on the spot help.

Housekeeping Staff
A discreet daily housekeeping service is provided at the chalet. There are luxury toiletries in all of the bathrooms as well as robes & slippers.

Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes - whether for simple, hearty dishes or delectable 7-course banquets. It's just like dining at the finest restaurant, within the privacy of your own home. And, at Chalet La Corniche, everyone's needs are met, so if you would like a separate supper for the children, it's no problem.

Chalet La Corniche prides itself on exemplary service, food and wine. The chalet offers an a la carte wine list where guests can pre-order their preferred wines from a renowned Verbier cave and any special requests can be accommodated should you wish the bar to be pre-stocked with any other favourites.

Children

Your chef will be happy to cook a children's supper for the younger ones in the group should they wish to eat a bit earlier too.

Once in the great outdoors, they will love the vast array of child-friendly activities on offer in Verbier.
The chalet hosts can arrange exciting husky rides, or ice-karting, as well as private ski or snowboarding lessons. You'll have the use of your own sledges too, for fun and games in the snow. They are also an excellent way to tow little ones around town!

The Chalet La Corniche staff are experienced in arranging all aspects of childcare for guests. Whether your children require daily childcare, or just an evening of babysitting when you go out, professional English-speaking nannies can be arranged.

Eating & Drinking

There are plenty of lively, hip bars and clubs to appeal to the young and beautiful crowd in Verbier, maintaining the resort's reputation as a party town, but for those looking for something a bit more sedate, there are also a number of more sophisticated and civilised options.

There is also a good selection of restaurants in Verbier. Try Michelin-starred Chalet d'Adrien or for great steaks Ecurie has a traditional Swiss ambiance.

Up the mountain a personal favourite is Cabane Mont Fort, a proper old-school mountain refuge which stands out from most of the other cafeteria style restaurants dotted around the ski area. The food is excellent quality authentic mountain fayre, but it does get busy so it's worth booking a table.
