Overview

Proudly perched high on the Savoleyres side of the mountain, in the famous Swiss ski resort of Verbier, sits Chalet Les Chardons. An outstanding private home, it is a masterpiece of contemporary chic design set in an incredible location. Chalet Les Chardons's position affords wonderful views towards the breath-taking mountain range in the distance.

Accommodation

The chalet sleeps up to 13 people in seven guest bedrooms. There is an additional single staff bedroom with shower, should extra space be required. You enter the chalet through the indoor garage into the chic ski room and entrance hallway. There is plenty of storage for ski clothes and equipment.

Moving upstairs, the ground floor of the chalet is home to the spectacular 25m indoor salt-water swimming pool and relaxation area. Floor to ceiling windows open out onto the large terrace, and the panoramic views are simply staggering.

There is plenty of space to relax and unwind and a seperate hammam, sauna, and ice cold plunge pool provide the perfect place to soothe aching muscles after a hard day on the mountain. Guests can enjoy an in-chalet private massage in the massage room adjacent to the spa.

Spacious double bedroom, complete with dressing area, desk, large en-suite bathroom, and separate shower. The French windows open out onto the spacious terrace.

The single staff bedroom is also located on this floor. There is an en-suite shower and the guest WC is located across the hall from the bedroom.

The east wing is accessed via a private staircase from the main living area. Here you will find the deluxe master bedroom. There is a four-poster bed, a private balcony, sitting area, and large en-suite bathroom.

The top floor of the chalet has a family suite with two bedrooms, and there are two further bedrooms on this floor. You enter the family suite into the lovely living area with wood-burning fire place, sofa, and kitchenette. There is one double bedroom with en-suite shower room and a twin/double bedroom with en-suite shower room. There is an additional double bedroom on this floor (160 x 200cm) and a single bedroom which share a family bathroom.

Moving upstairs to the attic floor, there is a twin/double bedroom and en-suite wet room with shower.

Living & Dining Areas

The first floor is home to a beautiful open plan living and dining area. There are plenty of sofas and armchairs meaning the whole family can sit together. The seating is focused around the large wood burning fire place and by day light floods into the room through the floor to ceiling French windows and, in the evening, sophisticated lighting and candle light create a perfect setting for relaxing and entertaining.

In the centre of the room, between the sitting area and private kitchen, sits the vast oak table which can seat up to 24 people.

Chalet Les Chardons staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.

Manager
Your chalet manager and staff will be on hand throughout your stay to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a dedicated and highly personalised concierge service during your stay. Private transfers, ski lessons and other in-resort activities can all be organised via our team.

Concierge
From your first phone call right through until you get back home we're on hand to help with all aspects of your trip. We can assist with standard services from spa treatments and restaurant reservations right through to more challenging and unique requests. You'll also have access to local support in your destination for on the spot help.

Housekeeping Staff
A discreet daily housekeeping service is provided at the chalet. There are luxury toiletries in all of the bathrooms as well as robes & slippers.

And, at Chalet Les Chardons, everyone's needs are met, so if you would like a separate supper for the children, it's no problem.

Chalet Les Chardons prides itself on exemplary service, food and wine. The chalet offers an a la carte wine list where guests can pre-order their preferred wines from a renowned Verbier cave and any special requests can be accommodated should you wish the bar to be pre-stocked with any other favourites.

Children

Your chef will be happy to cook a children's supper for the younger ones in the group should they wish to eat a bit earlier too.

Once in the great outdoors, they will love the vast array of child-friendly activities on offer in Verbier.
The chalet hosts can arrange exciting husky rides, or ice-karting, as well as private ski or snowboarding lessons. You'll have the use of your own sledges too, for fun and games in the snow. They are also an excellent way to tow little ones around town!

The Chalet Les Chardons staff are experienced in arranging all aspects of childcare for guests. Whether your children require daily childcare, or just an evening of babysitting when you go out, professional English-speaking nannies can be arranged.

Eating & Drinking

There are plenty of lively, hip bars and clubs to appeal to the young and beautiful crowd in Verbier, maintaining the resort's reputation as a party town, but for those looking for something a bit more sedate, there are also a number of more sophisticated and civilised options.

There is also a good selection of restaurants in Verbier. Try Michelin-starred Chalet d'Adrien or for great steaks Ecurie has a traditional Swiss ambiance.

Up the mountain a personal favourite is Cabane Mont Fort, a proper old-school mountain refuge which stands out from most of the other cafeteria style restaurants dotted around the ski area. The food is excellent quality authentic mountain fayre, but it does get busy so it's worth booking a table.
