Overview

Nestled in the exclusive Le Hameau development and surrounded by tranquil garden, this chalet is in a prime position just 100m from the Le Rouge piste and a short stroll from the beginner nursery slopes. A luxurious spacious private home, Chalet Les Oursons has every comfort you could possibly wish for from your hideaway in the mountains.

Accommodation

Sleeping 15 people in seven individually designed bedrooms, this stand-alone luxury chalet is one of a kind. All the bedrooms have either en-suite or private shower/bathrooms. Traditional materials have been combined with the artistic vision of the owner to create a sumptuous chalet where no attention to detail has been spared.

You enter the chalet into a spacious hallway. On this floor is the well-equipped ski room and an additional guest WC. Beautiful furnishings, gorgeous textures, and minimalist, contemporary design create an impressive master bedroom. Floor to ceiling French windows open out onto to a shared terrace where the views are simply breath-taking. The impressive en-suite bathroom has his and hers sinks, a large free-standing bath, and separate shower. There is a further twin/double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom and French windows opening out onto the terrace.

Also on this floor is a twin double bedroom and a bunk room sleeping two people. These bedrooms share a contemporary en-suite bathroom. A small stair case leads off the kitchen area to the mezzanine double bedroom situated in the eaves. This bedroom has an en-suite shower room.

One of the highlights of the chalet is the wellness area which is located on the ground floor. An indoor hot tub, sauna, and rain showers provide ultimate relaxation. You can also find your way out to the spacious sunny garden from this floor. As well as the spa there is a TV and games room. A pool table and dart board provide endless entertainment, while the large L-shaped sofa provides the perfect spot to relax and unwind in front of the fire. There is a small kitchen and bar area.

Also on this floor is a twin/double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and French windows which open out onto the lovely sunny garden. There is also a children?s bunk room sleeping three which has a private shower room.

Living & Dining Areas

The main living area is located on the second floor. Sliding doors open out onto the large terrace allowing natural light to flood in. Focused around the large stone fireplace, the careful design has created an elegant and sophisticated space, perfect for entertaining. Overlooking the dining area is the fully-equipped kitchen which has been finished to the highest standard.

Manager
Your chalet manager and staff will be on hand throughout your stay to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a dedicated and highly personalised concierge service during your stay. Private transfers, ski lessons and other in-resort activities can all be organised via our team.

From your first phone call right through until you get back home we're on hand to help with all aspects of your trip. We can assist with standard services from spa treatments and restaurant reservations right through to more challenging and unique requests. And, at Chalet Les Oursons, everyone's needs are met, so if you would like a separate supper for the children, it's no problem.

Chalet Les Oursons prides itself on exemplary service, food and wine. The chalet offers an a la carte wine list where guests can pre-order their preferred wines from a renowned Verbier cave and any special requests can be accommodated should you wish the bar to be pre-stocked with any other favourites.

Children

Your chef will be happy to cook a children's supper for the younger ones in the group should they wish to eat a bit earlier too.

Once in the great outdoors, they will love the vast array of child-friendly activities on offer in Verbier.
The chalet hosts can arrange exciting husky rides, or ice-karting, as well as private ski or snowboarding lessons. You'll have the use of your own sledges too, for fun and games in the snow. They are also an excellent way to tow little ones around town!

Eating & Drinking

There are plenty of lively, hip bars and clubs to appeal to the young and beautiful crowd in Verbier, maintaining the resort's reputation as a party town, but for those looking for something a bit more sedate, there are also a number of more sophisticated and civilised options.

There is also a good selection of restaurants in Verbier. Try Michelin-starred Chalet d'Adrien or for great steaks Ecurie has a traditional Swiss ambiance.

Up the mountain a personal favourite is Cabane Mont Fort, a proper old-school mountain refuge which stands out from most of the other cafeteria style restaurants dotted around the ski area. The food is excellent quality authentic mountain fayre, but it does get busy so it's worth booking a table.
