Overview
Chalet Raksha was completely renovated and completed in
2018 and is an ideal base for families or a group of friends. This
stunning chalet sleeps eight adults and 2 children in five bedrooms. Not
only is the chalet in one of Verbiers most-coveted locations, allowing
you to ski directly to the chalet door (snow permitting), the elevated
position offers incredible views of Mont Rogneux and Petit Combin.
Accommodation
Entering
the chalet on the first floor you are immediately drawn to the view,
which is framed by the double height windows at the front of the
property. The doors lead out to the huge balcony with breath-taking
views of Verbier and the snow cloaked mountains beyond. The sun-drenched
balcony is the ideal spot to soak up some winter sunshine and watch the
skiers sashay down Le Rouge piste with a glass of something sparkling
in hand.
The large and spacious open plan kitchen, living and
dining room is lends itself perfectly to modern family living. The
dining table comfortably seats 10 people around a beautiful handmade oak
dining table. By day the living room is flooded with light and in the
evening this room comes alive with sensitive lighting and views of the
twinkling lights of Verbier, and is the ideal spot for pre-dinner drinks
around the open fireplace. The large, modern, well equipped kitchen,
there is a large central island and breakfast bar, where you can perch
and watch your chef gastronomic delights.
On this floor, there is also a guests WC and ski and boot room with heated boots warmers and plenty of storage for skis.
The
top floor of the chalet is dedicated to the master bedroom, with
vaulted ceilings and decorated in muted, calming tones, it is a heaven
if tranquillity. There is en-suite bathroom with separate shower, the
large sky light baths the room in light. There is also a walk-in
dressing room with plenty on storage.
Taking the stairs down to
the ground floor, there are a further four tastefully decorated
bedrooms. There are two twin/double bedrooms, one double bedroom and a
bunk room. The quad bunk room has two sets of built in bunk beds and is
an ideal bedroom for children. The further three bedrooms are to the
front of the property, with one twin/double and the double sharing a
bathroom and separate shower room. The final twin/double has an en-suite
shower room. These bedrooms all have access to terrace and outdoor hot
tub, with incredible views. The hot tub can also be accessed by a set of
stairs on the exterior.
Also on this floor is laundry room with separate washing machine and dryer.
The outdoor parking for Chalet Raksha is 100m from the chalet, you will find one space dedicated to the chalet.

Your chalet manager and staff will be on hand throughout your stay to pour your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a dedicated and highly personalised concierge service during your stay. Private transfers, ski lessons and other in-resort activities can all be organised via our team.
Concierge
From your first phone call right through until you get back home we're on hand to help with all aspects of your trip. We can assist with standard services from spa treatments and restaurant reservations right through to more challenging and unique requests. You'll also have access to local support in your destination for on the spot help.
Housekeeping Staff
A discreet daily housekeeping service is provided at the chalet. There are luxury toiletries in all of the bathrooms as well as robes & slippers.

A highly qualified private chef will be available to prepare breakfast, afternoon treats and superb evening meals. And, at Chalet Raksha, everyone's needs are met, so if you would like a separate supper for the children, it's no problem.
Chalet Raksha prides itself on exemplary service, food and wine. The chalet offers an a la carte wine list where guests can pre-order their preferred wines from a renowned Verbier cave and any special requests can be accommodated should you wish the bar to be pre-stocked with any other favourites.

Your chef will be happy to cook a children's supper for the younger ones in the group should they wish to eat a bit earlier too.Once in the great outdoors, they will love the vast array of child-friendly activities on offer in Verbier.
The chalet hosts can arrange exciting husky rides, or ice-karting, as well as private ski or snowboarding lessons. You'll have the use of your own sledges too, for fun and games in the snow. They are also an excellent way to tow little ones around town!

There are plenty of lively, hip bars and clubs to appeal to the young and beautiful crowd in Verbier, maintaining the resort's reputation as a party town, but for those looking for something a bit more sedate, there are also a number of more sophisticated and civilised options.There is also a good selection of restaurants in Verbier. Try Michelin-starred Chalet d'Adrien or for great steaks Ecurie has a traditional Swiss ambiance.
Up the mountain a personal favourite is Cabane Mont Fort, a proper old-school mountain refuge which stands out from most of the other cafeteria style restaurants dotted around the ski area. The food is excellent quality authentic mountain fayre, but it does get busy so it's worth booking a table.
