The Qatar prix de l'Arc de Triomphe was created in 1920 for the victorious troops which marched past on July 14, 1919 under the Triumph Arch. This international sports event sets every first weekend of October and is gathering the 18 best pure breeds of the world that won the most prestigious horseracing of the year. The race will be 2 650 meters long with about 30 000 spectators. 8 other races and a horse show will complete the day program.
