Overview
Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the
Ngorongoro Conservation Area - situated in the Ngorongoro Crater rim
valley, close to the access road into the crater, giving guests
unrivaled access to the crater floor.
Ngorongoro is home to a large
assortment of animals including zebra, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest,
hippo and elephants; and an amazing population of predators - lions,
hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.

Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area -
situated in the Ngorongoro Crater rim valley, close to the access road
into the crater, giving guests unrivaled access to the Ngorongoro
Conservation Area.
The park is full of wildebeest, zebra, buffalo,
eland, warthog, hippo and elephants. Supported by a year-round supply of
water and food; the park supports a massive variety of animals,
including its impressive population of predators, including lions,
hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.
The camp
offers ten classic safari tents - each with its own en-suite bathroom
and indoor bucket shower, with personal tent attendant filling your
bucket shower to the perfect temperature whenever required from the
outside. The tents also feature hairdryers and plug points and a small
sitting area in front of each of the tents where early morning coffee
and biscuits can be enjoyed before starting the day of incredible game
viewing. The main common areas include a dining area, bar area and
lounge area as well as comfortable sofas placed in specially-selected
locations around the camp.
Bedrooms & Bathrooms
All 12
rooms are spacious safari tents, each with an en suite bathroom
consisting of a bucket shower, flush toilet and running water. Each tent
also has a hairdryer, room safe and mosquito net over the comfortable
bed.

Ngorongoro Crater Camp is located in the rim valley of the world famous
Ngorongoro Crater situated in the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in close
proximity to the access road leading onto the crater floor. The camp is
accessible by road and air from Arusha into Manyara Airstrip
Our
Sanctuary guide will meet you at the airstrip and transfer you to the
camp. Transfer from the airstrip to the camp is 45 minutes to the NCAA
gate and then an hour game drive to camp.

- Arusha Airport to Manyara airstrip 40 minutes
- Arusha to Ngorongoro Crater Camp ? 2.5 hours to the NCAA gate and then game drive for 45 minutes to 1 hour to camp
- Please note all inter-camp flights are done by light aircraft and flying times are dependent on multiple pick up and drop off times. The luggage restriction is 15kg / 33lbs per person in a soft-sided bag.

Game drives
Enjoy
thrilling game drives lead by highly qualified guides in closed 4 x 4
game viewing vehicles. Game drives are conducted in the early morning
and late afternoon in the Ngorongoro crater and on the rim. We offer one
crater floor game drive per stay. If guests are staying for 2x nights
we will also offer a Lake Manyara National Park game drive on the second
day.
Cultural activities
Guests can enjoy cultural activities in a nearby Masai village.

Children
We welcome all children aged 6 and above at Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater CampChildren aged 15 and younger are required to share with their parents.
Private vehicle must be booked for children aged 5 and younger.
Dining
Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp prides itself in the personalised service we are able to offer our guests. Please let us know if you have any special requests and/or dietary requirements.Dining will be individual table settings placed in spots around the camp with unique viewpoints. There will also be comfortable sofas and umbrellas placed in and around the camp in special spots with great views for guests to sit and soak up the surrounding area.
Breakfast, lunch and dinner are included in your stay - and dining is buffet style in the camp. On early morning game drives, indulge in a packed breakfast enjoyed in the middle of the bush and head back to the lodge for a late lunch; or leave after an early breakfast and indulge in a scrumptious packed lunch enjoyed whilst on a full day game drive. For a more intimate experience you can choose to dine on individual tables set in special spots around the camp, overlooking the action below.
