Accommodation

At the beginning of the 20th century, William Waldorf Astor, U.S. Ambassador to Italy, acquired the property and designed a splendid garden at the back of the house where a 13th century convent, subsequently rebuilt to house a Dominican monastery once stood. Another notable name associated with the villa is

Benedetto Croce, famous philosopher and political activist, whose presence temporarily turned the property into the 'headquarters' of Italy's political chronicles. In the study of this unique historical environment, the splendor of which is enhanced with marble columns, Roman statues and many other artifacts, the official declaration for the first post-WWII Italian government was signed.

La Sirena de Sorrento has been recently renovated by the famous French decorator Jacques Garcia. This wonderful property offers the accommodation in its six luxury suites and in additional five bedrooms in the Torre. Villa La Sirena de Sorrento is also an ideal place for any kind of events, weddings and seminars.

The villa is distributed over 5 floors: on the lower ground floor there is the fitness area with various pieces of equipment and two panoramic lounges; moving up to the floor above via a beautiful marble staircase we enter a central corridor that leads to three spacious reception rooms from which it is possible to access the large panoramic terrace with views of the gulf of Sorrento.

On the first floor are two sumptuous master bedrooms with walk-in dressing rooms and en-suite bathrooms and there are four double bedrooms on the second floor. Each room is individually and decadently designed and has integrated audio/visual systems.

With its 180 degree sea views and stunning natural scenery, it is easy to see why the 20,000m2 garden is considered one of the most beautiful gardens in Italy. From here, guests have direct access to the sea through an amazing internal pool in a natural grotto. A roof-top terrace offers uninterrupted views of Sorrento and the Gulf of Naples.

There is a wellness suite in the basement with a gym equipped with the latest Precor equipment, a massage room and shower.
