Overview
Completed in the autumn of 2014, Diamant is the
spectacular brand new luxury chalet in the Sonalon area of Verbier.
Perched high on the side of the mountain the chalet has been finished
with immaculate style and elegance.
The location is exceptional
offering breath-taking views of the surrounding peaks and the valley
below. A truly astounding chalet, every detail has been taken care of to
create the ultimate alpine residence.
Accommodation
This
stunning property spans over four floors and sleeping eight people in
four luxurious bedrooms. The living and entertaining areas are sumptuous
and spacious with plenty of outdoor space to relax in the warmer spring
months. The spectacular spa and entertainment zone is spread over the
ground floor which offers one of the most luxurious in-chalet spa
experiences in the Alps.
You enter the chalet on the first floor
onto one of the two sleeping floors. Here you will find the master
bedroom which can be made up as a twin or super king. This bedroom has a
contemporary en-suite bathroom with separate shower. French windows
open out onto a spacious terrace from where you can enjoy the
spectacular views. There is a further twin/double bedroom also with an
en-suite bathroom and French windows opening out onto the terrace. Both
these bedrooms have flat screen TV's (the chalet is equipped with the
latest sound and entertainment systems).
Moving upstairs the
first floor is home to the wonderful open plan living and dining area.
Floor to ceiling French windows open out onto the large wrap-around
terrace, the perfect spot to sit back in the warm fur covered chairs and
watch the sun go down. In the evening enjoy a glass of champagne in
front of the roaring fire whilst the bright lights of Verbier create a
spectacular backdrop in the distance. The dining room sits 10 people
comfortably. The well-equipped kitchen is closed off allowing maximum
privacy whilst you enjoy dinner. Also on this floor is the ski room with
heated boot warmers and a guest toilet.
The top floor has two
further bedrooms. One twin/double with an en-suite bathroom and a
private balcony. The second bedroom on this floor has a 140cm bed. This
bedroom has an en-suite shower room and a small private balcony.

One of the greatest advantages of staying in Diamant is the personalised service provided by dedicated staff.
Chalet
Diamant staff have been professionally trained and will do their utmost
to please with their warm and friendly hospitality.
Manager
Your
chalet manager and staff will be on hand throughout your stay to pour
your morning coffee, serve dinner in the evenings and provide you with a
dedicated and highly personalised concierge service during your stay.
Private transfers, ski lessons and other in-resort activities can all be
organised via our team.

From your first
phone call right through until you get back home we're on hand to help
with all aspects of your trip. We can assist with standard services from
spa treatments and restaurant reservations right through to more
challenging and unique requests. You'll also have access to local
support in your destination for on the spot help.

A
discreet daily housekeeping service is provided at the chalet. There
are luxury toiletries in all of the bathrooms as well as robes &
slippers.

A full-time pool attendant ensure the pool and spa look their best, without ever intruding on guests' privacy.

highly qualified private chef will be available to prepare breakfast,
afternoon treats and superb evening meals. Our chefs will work with you
or your staff to create the perfect menu for your stay, be it a seven
course evening meal or something simple and healthy (food and wine

A
dedicated chauffeur and vehicle (Volkswagen Caravelle or similar)
operating between the hours of 8.30am until 2am. Please note that the

Activities
One
of the top ski resorts in the world, Verbier is as famous for its
glamorous nightlife as it is for its vast off-piste terrain and 400km of
piste skiing.
Your villa manager will have a wealth of information
about places of interest and will help arrange transport and make any
bookings required. Do also ask the staff about the area too. Most will
live nearby and can give an interesting insight into some of the
fascinating aspects of local life...

Your professional chef uses the finest ingredients, including delicious local specialities.Menus can be tailored to suit your tastes - whether for simple, hearty dishes or delectable 7-course banquets. It's just like dining at the finest restaurant, within the privacy of your own home. And, at Chalet The Alpine Majesty, everyone's needs are met, so if you would like a separate supper for the children, it's no problem.
Chalet Diamant prides itself on exemplary service, food and wine. The chalet offers an a la carte wine list where guests can pre-order their preferred wines from a renowned Verbier cave and any special requests can be accommodated should you wish the bar to be pre-stocked with any other favourites.
Children
As well as the private spa area with swimming pool which is sure to be a hit with the kids, Chalet Diamant has DVDs and music system to keep children entertained indoors. The cosy TV room on the ground floor is perfect as a den to snuggle up in and watch a movie, whilst the adults relax in the first floor living area.Your chef will be happy to cook a children's supper for the younger ones in the group should they wish to eat a bit earlier too.
Once in the great outdoors, they will love the vast array of child-friendly activities on offer in Verbier.
The chalet hosts can arrange exciting husky rides, or ice-karting, as well as private ski or snowboarding lessons. You'll have the use of your own sledges too, for fun and games in the snow. They are also an excellent way to tow little ones around town!
The Chalet Diamant staff are experienced in arranging all aspects of childcare for guests. Whether your children require daily childcare, or just an evening of babysitting when you go out, professional English-speaking nannies can be arranged.

Eating & Drinking
There are plenty of lively, hip bars and clubs to appeal to the young and beautiful crowd in Verbier, maintaining the resort's reputation as a party town, but for those looking for something a bit more sedate, there are also a number of more sophisticated and civilised options.There is also a good selection of restaurants in Verbier. Try Michelin-starred Chalet d'Adrien or for great steaks Ecurie has a traditional Swiss ambiance.
Up the mountain a personal favourite is Cabane Mont Fort, a proper old-school mountain refuge which stands out from most of the other cafeteria style restaurants dotted around the ski area. The food is excellent quality authentic mountain fayre, but it does get busy so it's worth booking a table.
